Bill Trümper has one good friend in the school, Andreas. Bill sees the good in everyone, looks on the bright side of things, sees all the good things life has to offer…but, he can’t see at all. After an accident he survived when he was younger, Bill became blind.
Tom Kaulitz just moved to the small town that Bill lives in after living in the United States since he was five. Tom is immediately popular and makes lots of friends. However, the boy is pretty cynical and has a pessimistic view on things. The way he sees it, life is nothing but pain and lies until it ends.
