Banners I am making this news post to remind you all about our rule about fan fic banner sizes. What was that rule again? I don't think any of us really know the rule or follow it. A lot of people's banners break our size limit and they aren't obnoxiously large.
But the fact remains that some of you TH fan fic fiends are making your banners pretty freakin' huge. We don't want to impose crazy size restrictions on you, but please use your common sense when making a banner. Anything taller than 300 pixels is probably a big no no, and anything wider than the site layout is DEFINITELY a faux pas.
So, use your head and if you find that your banner has been reduced in size (the work of our generous, unpaid, tireless mod staff) please do not resize your banner back to its previous state. We've resized it for a reason!

Site Problems As you have noticed, we're having some extreme difficulties with the site. We're going to be experiencing downtime off and on, and we ask that you please remain patient with us. We're working as hard as we can on it.
Also, we want to ask you to clear your browser history and clear all cache/cookies on your browser. You can do this by going into "Tools" and then depending on your browser, either "Internet Tools", Options, Clear History, etc. It depends.

Challenge #2 Famous Last Words REVEAL! The reveal for the "Famous Last Words" challenge has been made! Please visit the challenge HERE to check out who wrote what. Let us know if you find any mistakes in the reveal (hey, we're human! sorta).
Unfortunately, because of low voter turnout, we were not able to pick any winners for this challenge. I think this challenge was a success, however, as so many of you went totally out of your comfort zones to write for this challenge.
Let's make the next challenge even better, okay? Hopefully we'll have more user participation! As a little teaser for the next challenge, I'll give you its title: Fandom Remix.
Some of you may know what that is! We'll most likely be posting more about it in the coming weeks.

Notifications Being Sent to SPAM I want to ask for you all to please bear with us right now as we try and figure out the notification issues. If you are suddenly not receiving notifications, you will need to check your spam/junk folders, as the notifications are most likely being sent there. It happened to me, so it will most likely happen to you.
Go into your spam/junk mail and mark the notifications as NOT SPAM. You need to train your spam filters to not send our mail to these folders.
Our new email address, for the time, is admin@tokiohotelfiction.com, so if you get mail from that, it is not SPAM, it is our new address.
PLEASE let me know if you receive notifications when you haven't before, even if you find them in your SPAM. If we don't see any improvement in the notifications, we'll be switching our site email back.
