I used to be pretty aversive to Bill/Bushido, but then I read a few stories wth it, and then I saw some Youtube videos of Bushido being an ass,but in a cute way,and now I kinda like this pairing.

I just realized why I never reviewed this series. It's because every time I read it I'm left at a loss as what to say.
Naturally I think that you should never have to force yourself to review. I think the best and worst fics are the ones that give you plenty to say - 'apathy is the opposite of love, not hate' sort of thing - but this makes me think that maybe, the best kind of fics are the ones that touch you so deeply that everything that you'd been wanting to say clams up in your chest until you can release it on a sigh.
And it's what I did when I finished reading this, its what I do every time I read this - I sigh. This sort of ache is worse than the kind that makes you cry, and I've been reveling in it not because I'm a closeted masochist but because I've been set on that happy ending. I think it would be a grave injustice if it wasn't graced to two people that need each other as much as these do.
I didn't review because I don't know what to say that doesn't sound banal and repetitive. It doesn't seem possible that you, yourself, can read this and not know how brilliant it is. I guess the only thing I can do is marvel at how the brilliance comes across - it's not flashy and loud, it's not spectacularly original, it... it leaves footprints as it tiptoes on your heart.
This is one fic I don't want to analyze, I don't want to dissect. I don't want to look into the how and why here; I don't want to peel apart every sentence and discover what it really meant. I don't want to do that because I don't have to. Everything you wanted to say comes across just the way you wanted to say it and I don't need to put any effort into deciphering it because this? Is love. The universal language.
I can't praise your dialogue, or the placement of the dialogue, or the setting or the plot, because when I read it's not you, it's them. To be able to forget this is a piece of fiction, something that comes from someone else's mind, something that will probably never happen - to forget that, and read like I'm there and watching it happen makes this fic go from "great" to "the best".
When I ask for a happy ending, I hope you don't think I'm actually asking for an ending. The next will be the last of what you grace us with, yes, but it isn't the end to this. I don't think this has an end. So when I say give me a happy ending... I mean, give them a happy beginning.

I'm so amazed... I mean, I knew you're a good writer, but I didn't get how much until I read the whole four stories one after the another. It was wonderful. I loved the way you wrote them, the present's so good to tell their story, 'cause the story itself only live in the present, trying to forget the past and avoid the future. The subtle angsty mood which marks all the chapters is wonderful. It aches. I felt Bill's sadness perfectly as I felt Bushido's trying to adjust himself to a new way of seeing things. I am pretty sure he loves Bill too. It's just difficult to admit it. To have the balls to say it.
Awh. I just love the serie, k? ;_; You'll write more, won't you? Pretty please?

Soooo reading This Hour's Duty had a pretty strong reaction from me, because I went into the story with a twincest-loving mindset, so I supported the Bill/Tom the entire time...seeing the Billshido actually put me off the pairing, but I think that this series is making me like it again. And it's goood to be back x) Thanks for all the wonderful writing!

I will repeat myself when I say this is my favorite Billshido story. This chapter completely blown me away. And first I want to thank you for writing so well, for making this pair kinda alive in such a realistic and touching way.
This was the best part of the serie to me. I loved all the little details that you put in it and I can't help but love the fact Bushido is showing a little bit that he cares.
