I have a question and suggestion; I think you should deffinately put this on Teen Ink, you could have a really good chance of having it in their magazine and have so many comments and views, or if you cant, maybe I could for you. This is a beautiful story. I love the way you describe 'monster.' And the way she's not afraid of him and how she ends up falling in love with him. I felt a little disappointed that he left, but I still like it. I'm very sorry about your experience. It's never happened to me so I can't imagine how you feel. You got talent though. that story was amazing. it was touching, i loved it...it was so real, the inspiration behind it, i knew it from the first word of bruises. it was their. Even though they hurt you, you love them because what else could you do?

I think EVERYONE has a monster of their own. Some worse than others. Mine was a pedophile. Lovely, ne? But he's been out of my life for a very, very long time. (Since I was a kid).

my "monster" doesn´t have eyes that change color his are always black, but somewhat like the monster in your story to this day i´m waiting him to return.
