This I have the energy to review. Luce, this was amazing. And totally different from your other stories and one shots. It was beacutifully descriptive mixed in with your wonderfully funny personality. I've never seen any other one shots that were able to say so much while telling so little. I particularly liked the ending, how you didn't come out and say they ran away. Instead you just talked about what was outside the walls, and how the hardpacked streets could hide footprints. I also liked the connection back to the flower at the end, and how the idea of freedom flowed through the entire stroy, starting at the beginning, obviously resounding loudly in Bill, but also in music, and in Dacoda, and in the lark too. This was really quite poetic. You'd probably appreciate latin if you could read it. It's right up you alley.

I also liked the kinky side too it. I was a little wierded out by Dacota but it worked. He wasn't mean, though I was afraid he would be for a while. The one thing I didn't understand was how he knew Tom loved Bill. It was obvious that he was attacted to him, and he knew Tom was in love w/ someone based off of his music, and it became clear to him once he saw them together, but he didn't originally call Bill to his room for Tom. It just worked out that way, or so it seemed.

I was a little freaked out for a while there too, when I though Tom might be bottoming. That's ok every now and again, but it would have ruined the story for me, I think any way, if you had done that. So I'm happy you didn't.

Oh, also, not even kidding. I was JUST talking about Aladdin today in one of my classes. Talk about coincidence. When I saw the video at the beginning I was like, NO WAY!!!

Author's Response: I am so, so, so happy the ending worked out for everyone, I was doubting it a bit because I've done it before, but figured out it only makes sense in my own head and then having to rewrite it xD okay, and the freedom thing, that wasn't even something I thought so much about oO I just think that when writing about Bill and Tom, freedom is a key theme ,) so fun that you found all those links to it in the fic, it wasn't intended that way but I guess my mind has been writing things without me noticing again xD I was running much on 'fate' with this story, having Bill come up to Dakota's room and everything working out from there, I think Dakota's original intention was o have his way with Bill, but listening to Tom play that music and then putting two and two together when seeing the way Tom looked at Bill, I just wanted him to be the kind of guy that thought love was greater than anything. Lol, I am fan of both Tom and Bill bottoming, but that requires the character being written in a way that would fit the bottom/topping role, in this, I think Bill was way too 'fragile' to have been topping, if one notices it, Bill is written in different ways when he tops from when he bottoms, I like both ways, but it has to be written according to it (am I making any sense?) okay, gonna reply to your mail today, just haven't had the time yet, love <3

soooo good. Honestly. I'm putting this in my favorites and reading it again and again. Maybe ....more? I love the whole world you've created in this. Billi and Tomi need more spotlight ;)
