1. The baby is ADORABLE! X3 Yes the description helped, I can see what he looks like, but it's like yucky cus of the blood and stuff. But now I'm wondering what's the baby going to feed on? What if it's Eir?! O.O like he gets a hold of her finger like babies do and then when he nibbles on it, he gets her blood?
2. Humans are very....INhuman....oh the irony. People do foolish things, it's in their nature, Poor William though, that just breaks my heart. How old was Bill in vampire years during that time? Cus I'm assuming that he's 10 in human years.
3. I am pissed off! Please tell me that Josh got to at least see the baby!!
4. I can totally se Eir and Silo having that mother-son relationship. :3 Perhaps even Bill as the daddy or 'other mommy'? XD

Interesting story, your take on a vampire is original. Although I do see inconsistencies with traits of a vampire.
You might want to be a little more clear on how Andreas killed Josh in the story itself.
