I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

In the sequel you recommended reading this first part to understand better, but the sequel was so good that I read it all of a sudden and now I've just come here, and if, when you read this first part, you understand better, why Bill was so hurt that he was used by his best friend.

Hello! 3:30 am over here! I could not put this story down. So lovely and well written!!! Thank you so much did for writing it. I loved and hated the ending so much. As I was reading it I was hoping it wouldn't have a happy ending but that cliffhanger was every unexpected. Although the way the story went it was extremely fitting.
Man I'm not sure we need a sequel because we get the idea. Bill is hopelessly in love with tom and would do anything to have just a small part of him. Where as tom's not a bad guy nessasarily; he just takes what he wants and what he knows he can get which is both ria and bill. He try's to juggle both as best as he can. But for a reason unbeknownst to us he will never choose one ( or just bill which we are all rooting for )
Or perhaps unbeknownst to us he will just always choose ria and will continue to take advantage of bill regardless of the fact that it hurts bill more and more while bill's suppose to be someone he loves and care about.
Well at least that's how I interpreted it.
I loved every single character in the story. I loved the drama ria brought, I loved reading about how hopelessly in love bill with with tom, I loved reading about their relationship and I absolutely loved how douche-y yet absolutely charming Tom was.
I couldn't really bring myself to hate him tho I know I should have.
Anyways thank you for writing this and although I said it was not needed a sequal would be much appreciated and loved.
I just want to read more about the universe and thoese characters!!!!

You really don't need to thank me for writing it, thank YOU for giving it a chance and reading it < 3 I knew how I was going to end this story before I even wrote it down, the sequel was always on the cards as I find this ending itself infuriatingly open? I feel like everybody deserved some closure on this little world, especially since we never got anything from Tom's perspective nor did we find out why he did what he did. I'm so glad you liked my characters in this though, I tried to make them seem as natural as I could without overdoing it. I honestly think you're the only person who doesn't hate Tom after reading this first story, many wanted to snap his neck for hurting Bill, (I kinda wanted to snap Bill's neck more though, he was so blinded and so naive that it was beginning to piss me off, but I guess that's what love can do to people?) I felt so sorry for Bill, and Tom seemed so oblivious and like an ass in the first part of the chapter. I was so happy and relieved when Tom said he wouldn't stop things because of Ria. But I can understand Bill, it's not what he wanted to hear. But it was good enough right then, I guess.

I wanna feel sorry for Bill, but that the same time, he should've known something was gonna go wrong, right? But maybe Bill had too much faith in Tom, that he actually thought that Tom would not hurt him, no matter what, which literally backfired. The blowjob scene, the thigh sex scene, their sex-sex scene - fingering, was all too difficult to write, I thought. It's not that I get uncomfortable writing those scenes, because I really don't, it's just there's only so much you can write about it without it sounding repetitive, you'know?
