Official THF Challenges! Every two months, we'll be hosting a new challenge that anyone on the site can participate in. Whether you're a new or old author, everyone is welcome.

The first challenge is called the Flip Flop Challenge. This challenge is all about broadening your horizons. Most authors have a specific category they normally write. The categories are Gen, Het, and Slash. In this challenge, you will write a category that you have never written before. Be creative! If you normally write slash, write het or gen! If you normally write het, write slash or gen! If you're a gen writer, branch our and write slash or het. ;)

We hope a lot of people will respond to this challenge. There will be gifts for the first, second, and third place winners. The deadline for this challenge is May 24, 2009.

Well that's good to know, thanks....now all I need to do is work out how the hell I go about writing gen. :)

I wonder, could it also be a pairing change yet in the same genre? Like if you always write Billshido or Twincest, you could write some Georg/Gustav? Or something of the...sort? o_O

If we haven't previously posted a story on this site can we still participate?
I mean, you wouldn't have anything to compare to my norm... and I tend to write everything! At some point in my life I have written het, slash, and gen, along with pure smut and cotton candy rainbow filled fluff....
When you said challenge you ment it! My head is spinning @___@

If we have recently posted a story that is outside our comfort zone can we submit that? I just wrote a het story for the first time but I've already posted on here. Does that count?

billxbesitztxmeinxherz - the story has to be written specifically for the challenge and must be anonoymous, so you can't submit something previously written.

@kimi482 - When you're done writing your piece, email it to thfchallenges@gmail.com, the admin will be posting the stories anonymously.
@MysticalMayhem - of course you can, but let your beta reader know that you're supposed to stay anonymous, so you two should keep your identity a secret. :)
