THF Official Challenge #2: Famous Last Words! We've just set up the second official THF challenge, and we're really excited about this one! We're calling it The Famous Last Words challenge, because, well, this challenge is ALL about the last line of the story. ;) The last line is...
Drumroll please...
He turned to his band mates, a weary smile on his face, and said, "Well, it could be worse - at least we still have our dignity... and our pants."
Each submission MUST end with this sentence. :) Your story can be any category, any genre, any pairing - ANYTHING! Take it any direction you want, as long as you end with this sentence.

I do like it, but there is way too little room for angst and simialr genres. I personally have a very hard time writing crack and in other genres like that, so I don't know if I'll be able to submit anything. I did like the idea, but I think there should have been more room to be creative with genre and pairing (I am thinking there will be a lot of general and slash stories since the last part of the fic is spent with only the band and the person saying it is talking to the /band/). I'm just saying... I hope next challenge will make it easier to write in whatever genre you feel comfortable with, at least since some on this page writes a lot of crack and are good at it when others (like me, lol) couldn't write anything funny to save their life.

laughingatyourface - I think the challenge is for people to try and write ALL sorts of fan fic around that last line. What a challenge it would be to write something NOT crack with that last line. C'mon, guys, you can do it. ;)

*has an idea but dont know if its good enough heeee* but urm, is the betaing a must? even if i checked it a dozen times or ask betaing from a friend not in the fandom?

@trahshukry - beta-ing is optional, I guess, but we really want CLEAN submissions this time around. :) since the "moderated submissions" doesn't apply to the challenge (within reason), we have to be careful. if you're very certain your submission is clean then by all means, submit! :)
