Imma be honest. I did not like Corrine. At all. The concept was cute, but she was trying to hard to be the next Bill and Tom and we all know that they come first. I felt like she was tying them down. I'm interested to see the twins response to her death though. Will it be cool indifference, an emotional outburst or something inbetween?

I feel a little bit silly leaving a review for a story in the "Hell" series, what with its immense reputation. It's sort of like reviewing the Louvre; everyone already knows how awesome it is, and nothing I say will have any effect on it whatsoever.

But I will anyway. I really, really like this series. I was tempted to use the word "adore", but it feels extremely inappropriate to the characters and the theme and everything. I can't imagine it's the easiest thing in the world to make a huge group of readers feel sympathetic to a pair of the most sociopathic, cold-blooded killers, but you've done it. It's rather difficult for me to reconcile how much I've enjoyed this story with my typical revulsion I feel in response to violence. However, I think the sociopathic nature of the twins in your story has rubbed off a little, as I've decided to just ignore how contrary my enjoyment is to my nature and have fun.

With many unfinished stories, I manage to dampen my anticipation for updates with the knowledge that I'm well aware there will be a happy ending, so there's no need for me to stress too much. However, I've gotten a bit more used to stories on THFiction, and I've got this nasty feeling about what you may or may not do to finish your Hell series.

You upper-level writers seem to LOVE doing this thing where on a superficial level, the ending is ridiculously sad for the readers but on a deeper level there is happiness. The best example I can think of off the top of my head is basically the last ten chapters of "I Will Be" by knw. The ending was so devastating to read, and yet I had to remind myself of all the happiness leading up to the end.

For this story, I think the similar ending would be with Tom and Bill dying. OF COURSE I don't want this to happen, it's so hard when you get attached to characters only to realize the author's intention all along was the kill them off within canon. But on a deeper level, it would be a happy ending, because it would be them killing each other, combining everything they love most together all in one violent, loving moment. Your Bill and Tom have always found the promise to kill each other incredibly moving, and I'm crossing my fingers for you to be a merciful author and let the reader imagine that ending rather than you putting it in writing.

Despite my crossed fingers, I trust you do whatever you think is best for the story, although I imagine saying that with a slightly petulant tone, sort of like when I admit that my mum is right and I am wrong. So please take this review as complete and 100% trust and encouragement, because I really cannot think of a single thing I would change in what you've done so far with the whole series. You seem to have you writing style down pat from experience and confidence, and it shows. So even if the rest of this final story is emotionally devastating, I will accept it wholeheartedly! :D

I do have one request for you though, when you have a spare moment. When I finished "I Will Be", I did not have a story I planned to read right after, which I should have, because that story left me crying for nearly an hour after I finished it and I wish I had a happy-ending story I knew to read right away to help get rid of the moping faster. I don't think you'll write an ending that will hurt quite as badly as knw did, but just in case:

could you recommend a few happy stories that I can read after you finish this story, if you have a sadder ending? I've read all the top 10's, along with most of admins' stories, most of the admins' favourites, as well as many of their favourite authors' stories. So it might not be the easiest thing to do, but I'd really appreciate it!

One dreams that someone reads their work with the eye you obviously do, and yes, it's fanfiction and isn't supposed to be that heavy but in my heart of hearts, you've seen what I've wished everyone could see. rnrnAs for something cheerful to read? Especially after listing what you've already gone through (which would've been my next step in suggesting...) Peki is great, so is Poor Medea and paraboobizarre.
