Thank you for once again a great story. I love your stories and can't get enough of them.
I'm so glad Tom wasn't put off by Bill's manner. In this way, he has given Bill a new, life worth living and the belief in love and family cohesion. Bill's fate affected me so much that I would have to cry again and again when I read what Bill had to endure because he simply didn't see a way out on his own. It's a good thing that Tom and later Tom's family came into his life and offered him a way out.
And I thought it was incredibly nice to see how hard Bill tried to change his life and was rewarded with love and success in the end.
Bill's father, however, I couldn't understand. Instead of being a loving father to his son and helping him, he turned away from him and was just disgusting to him. It was only when things were bad for him that he got in touch with Bill, even though Bill would have needed him so much more before. Fortunately, he has now found a new family in Tom's family who take him as he is, help him and, above all, love him without anything in return.

OMG. No! ........ Ok so I discovered Tokio Hotel in Jan '22. Found that fanfic existed shortly after that on AO3 (my previous poison was Marvel), and found THF in March '22. I've read an utterly insane amount of stories (napkin math tells me probably ~600). Historically I never got into reviewing cuz I'm always late to the game; everything I get into is years old and I never saw the point, even on AO3 (but I'd leave kudo hearts!). The funny thing is, one of, if not THE first THF story I read was The Dorm Room (which was marked finished a month before I joined) and I LOVED IT. But I was so used to NOT reviewing that I just never... did. As time went by though I was like, OK I def have to start leaving reviews on the newer/active author stories, but insert like 100 excuses/life BS here. THIS story though? I was low key obsessed. It was always up in a browser tab for the next update. I decided it needed a review (and in the near future I'll to do many more). It actually sorta even reminds me of The Dorm Room. Tom is adorable in this, and Bill's tragic character develops so perfectly. I wanted this to just go on and on. They're just too perfect together here. The family is great too! I was a little scared that David would find them but typically once your stories arc into a happier vibe it tends to stay that way, so I'm glad about that. I was so happy for how Bill found his forever, but I'm also heartbroken their story is done =( Thanks for giving this to us!
