I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it! I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to like it, going in... as I had never read anything with a character transitioning before, but DAMN this was SO well done and even informative!

I’M CRYING OH MY GODDD. i can’t. this was too cute and good and emotional and aaa. i know it’s a really old fic (almost ten years old!) but i just wanted to express how good it was in case you ever see this. it hit close to home, i loved it so much. makes me wish for more trans fics. i loved it!

This was an awesome story and written really well. I appreciated how acceptance was an ongoing process - Tom didn't come to the realization that Bill was a girl and everything was ok in one instant, and Bill took time to accept herself. And Bill is a hot leader singer for a band - male or female ;)

Stumbled over this story while wandering through thf, and I'm glad I did.
It had the perfect ending to a very amazing story.
For real, if it wern't for the fact I'm surrounded by a bunch of people who wouldn't get it, i'd probably cry.
I've been in a situation similar with a very close friend of mine (except without the fame, lol) and it was just handled very well here. Amazing job.

Wow. This whole story is just wow. I have been a member on THF for a while now and I always come across this fic when searching for something to read. I think I've mostly put off reading this fic for all of these years is that I never really bothered fully reading the description.
There is another transgender fic on this site as well called "Butterflied" by Ghostie so that really opened my mind up to this whole sex change genre.
Your fic was fantastically written but as can be expected from you two by now. However, this one was different than other pieces I've read by you two. I found myself crying throughout this whole thing in shock and at times anger with what Bill was doing. I love that Tom's character in this was not all too sure in the beginning of this process as he felt like he was losing a part of Bill and THAT was what really struck a cord with me.
Okay, now I'm going to sound like a stupid little fangirl here, but I agree with Tom's attitude at the beginning of this fic. You guys did such a good job at describing the raw pain and betrayal Tom was feeling that I really thought this whole situation over and felt hurt as well.
Very happy that Tom realized he should accept Bill for "who he is" and that "nothing has really changed" but if something like this were to happen to me in real life I'm not quite sure how I'd react. Especially if it was a lover of mine I think I'd be very upset as it really is changing a person as you know them.
But anyways excellent job with the fic! I really liked it! You guys just made it all too believable and my inner teenage girl got jealous! Hahaha! Lovely fic. Very well written.

I've always been kind of eh about this story, but I finally read it. Might I just say up until after Bill's surgery, it was completely emotional. I couldn't stop crying, I don't even know why. But now, I'm really happy. This was such a great fic, I'm really glad I read it.

I just read this whole thing all the way through, for about four hours. It was absolutely spectacular. I've been having trouble writing het sex because I've mostly been secluding myself in THF and the whole slash thing, and so the readers of my het story on another site have been frustrated that I can't seem to write it, but I think this may have changed that, because I'm writing a sex-only chapter right now. :')
This was beautifully written. The emotions and reactions you two write are always so real, so human, and it makes me believe this could really happen. I do think Bill would want to get the band back together if something like this did go on, so I'm very glad about the ending. Perfect choice.
I've always wondered how the two of you write. I don't think it's every other chapter, like Darcy writes the odds and Cyn writes the evens, but it doesn't seem like it's one girl being one of the twins and the other being the other either. How the heck do you guys do it? Because I'm completely lost. I guess that's good though because it means your writing styles are very compatible, and I'm glad you write stuff together. ♥

Oh wow. This was amazing! I seriously debated reading this for so long, but I finally just decided to read it through and it was so much better than I ever thought.
Everything was written beautifully and the emotions and thoughts of the characters were so well done, and the whole transition was handled so masterfully that any reservations I had about reading were obliterated after the first chapter.
I've read a lot of fics in this fandom and this is definitely in my top 10, maybe top 5. I'd recommend it to anyone.
