This was honestly, probably the best twincest fan fiction I've ever read. Not just for the story, but just for the amount of feelings you were able to draw out of me.

I pretty much had moments where I loved and hated every single character - even Ria, who I am not a fan of at all. Mostly, I identified with Tom. You pretty much wrote him in my own personality and the way I think/process matters. I could definitely feel his frustration and identify with it too.

I love Bill. I honestly do with all my heart and I totally understood him, his feelings, and why he was so pushy with the subject. Yet, at the same time, you kind of made me hate him.
I'm the kind of person that absolutely HATES being pushed and pressured to do things that I don't want to do, forced to feel guilty, and being harassed none stop. So when Bill was pushing Tom to extremes over, and over, and over again... all I could think of was 'Bill... seriously just fuck off and leave him alone. Some people NEED to be alone and sort things out themselves before they can discuss it with others. Get out of his fucking face and just let him BE.’

Then again, they are twins and they will forever have a relationship that we will never understand. Also, Tom was being stubborn when he knew he had feelings for Bill that his brother returned. They should have just talked about it but aaaaah c'est la vie. They are both stubborn as fuck and it is definitely not in their nature to approach these matters in a calm and civilized way. You portrayed their personalities PERFECTLY.

At least, what I think their personalities are (since I have never met them in person/ been friends with them).

This leads me to... Ria of all people. I can honestly say you made me like her as an actual human being LOL. Just... as much as I love twincest, read all the stories, ship it, etc., your story made me realize just how sad it would be to fall in love with twins as close as Bill and Tom.

Could you ever imagine loving someone completely; giving them your heart and your soul; willing to die for them, however realizing that you will never be the center of their world? Always coming second? Even if you were to ever marry since they 'love you', have children, etc., that you and your family would never be enough? You would forever be cast in the shadow of a twin; something you can’t even fucking compete with? Someone you will never be more important than?
Being someone who has really deep feelings and thoughts about not only what love vs lust is, but true what really true love is....

I think that's really, really sad and tragic...

Having these mixed feelings after reading your story even got me researching about marrying/dating an identical twins, reading things from both sides of the spectrum, and even why some identical twins actually despise their other halves; surprisingly most of them hating their twins for acting like Bill did in your story.

It also made me pissed at Bill's pushiness again since I DON'T believe that twins are soul mates.

Twins are twin flames, and soul mates are soul mates - completely different things.
But ahhh, what can I say? You don't pick who you love. Whether younger, older, twins, siblings, relatives, etc. Love is love and should never be denied.

Sorry for my massive review/rant and THANK YOU for writing such a fantastic story that I not only enjoyed, but pulled multiple emotions out of me, made me contemplate philosophical topics, and even had me researching to understand things better xD

I'm not a huge fan of her, but as I was writing this story, I really found myself feeling bad for what I was doing to her. When I started writing, I didn't really think about her, but then I wrote the scene at the club, I was struck by like you said, how tragic the whole situation was. It turned into this impossible, sad love triangle I never meant to incorporate when I started writing. I'm really glad I was able to bring some humanity to Ria, rather than just "Tom's girlfriend." rnrnWhat you said about Bill being pushy really makes me chuckle, though. I've always imagined that Bill can be pushy and assertive, and that's just how it comes out sometimes when I write. But, I see why you were upset with him. I don't like being pushed to do something I'm not certain about either, but I also don't like seeing someone I love pulling away from me . . . Which leads to the twin dynamic. I, myself, was gifted with a twin, so I have never really had to do much research or ponder deeply the twin connection. It's impossible to explain really. It's something I write on instinct because I know what it's like to love my twin unconditionally - not in a sexual manner though! lol I agree, twins are not soulmates, but as I tried to write in character, I felt that Bill would be set on that belief, because Tom is the only person he's ever WANTED to give himself. . . But you were right - in the end, the way it was resolved was that Bill was forced to back off and Tom managed to have some quiet time to himself and get his emotions straight. from bill cuddling with pumba while worrying about tom, to tom calling bill bibi, to tom finally giving them both what they wanted, and doing everything he could to make it good for his bill, to that kiss on bill's knee and tom taking the time to make sure bill was satisfied...seriously, this was all perfect. and i'm sad it's over.
