Not bad, as far as punishments go. I still think he deserves worse, though. I have to congratulate you - you've made me hate Tom quite effectively. No one has ever done that before. Heh.
I must point out Ares' language in that last paragraph, though... "Piss me off?" Really? He's a god... And he spoke so formally up to that point... "Anger me" would have been better word choice there, I think.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: I'm glad you hate Tom! I hoped he wouldn't be magically forgiven by anyone, and he's definately going to have to prove himself to Bill from now on. I debated on putting in "Piss me off" and finally decided upon it, because I think that after all the hints and clues Eros and Ares gave to Tom and Tom still being a stubborn asshole, Ares was at his wit's end. But I understand how it seems super informal, so perhaps I'll go back and change it. Thanks for the suggestion! New chapter soon :D

Hmmm... I'm skeptical. I realize Bill's life wasn't the greatest before, but he's just going to turn on his people like that? Not even the slightest hint of regret? Even if he loves Tom now, that shouldn't erase his past, you know? And if he truly has nothing against fighting the Ellathians, tell us why. It doesn't need to be drawn out - just a sentence or two, to explain.
But I have another chapter to read, so I'll get to that now. :)

Oh noes! poor Tom!
Okay, he deserved it, badly deserved it, but it's still sad that he doesn't get to live his dream.. they always get that in the end.
WHich is why this is such a brilliant ancient fic! I mean, it's like katharsis with Tokio Hotel, sad like a true tragedy!
Though I really hope there won't be more pain for them, because the only thing worse then this, to Tom, could be the death of Bill.
I wonder what will make him go down in history now? The propethess's lover?
The battle-scenes were really cool, blood everywhere and I kind of like that, sadistic am I.. jk *shifty eyes*
and I have no intensions of killing you, I kind of want that Hic et Nunc fic.
from the top of my head, that would mean, here and now? Am I correct?

I've got a real tragedy coming soon (not the slavery fic that I'll be posting next, but another top secret ancient story). Yes, Hic et Nunc means here and now. I've started working on some Latin.
