This deserves so many more reviews than it has. It's brilliant. And I don't know if you've changed the first chapter but I love it, so if you haven't I honestly think you shouldn't change it. There is so much attention to detail in this story, and it's obvious you put a lot into it. The transition from email to the story is great, and I'm so glad you don't have "Bills POV" or "Tom's POV" because that's just annoying. These super long chapters are also amazing. So yeah, if you haven't noticed, I really, really like this story. I hope you don't lose inspiration to write it because it is great so far.

I haven't gotten to re-do the first chapter, and I'm still pretty uneasy about it, but I'm still really glad you like it. I -did- put a lot into this story, more than I care to think about sometimes, and I'm overwhelmingly happy it spoke to you! Yes I decided to use a completely omniscient narrative for this story, and it's been both a blessing and a curse. Loving this story so much! I love the lenghty chapters and I'm sorry if I don't leave you a longer review this time, but I had surgery on Tuesday and shouldn't be on the computer too long. Yeah, go Tom! :D I was seriously nervous about how they were gonna get out of that restaurant! I say always, ALWAYS check the price befor entering. (Oh, and I know it's supposed to be pricy..but I still think you might have gone a tad overboard..)

I wasn't sure, since Europe might be different, but a four star French restaurant just across the border (in Buffalo, U.S, I think) sells Sturgeon for up to $200 a pop, so I tried and transferred those prices to Euros. Perhaps it's different there, or maybe I just got it wrong all together. *embarrassed* rnrnAs for Karla, she is rather dense... but as I call it, female intuition. A man comes home late smelling like someone else, and mama bear sees red! xD I don't care if it's mean hun, Karla is blah and no one likes her, not even me. on a lighter note, tom did NOT just diss Hannibal Lecter, did he? cuz i might have to school him xD and oh, god can i picture that pub...been there done that TOO many times, LOL, but just without the beer, cuz i was a child when i frequented such seedy locales xP (my dad was in a band, so i'd often be the lone 10 yr old in a sea of 35+, alcohol-drinking patrons...im pretty sure i wasnt allowed, technically...lol, good times) this was a lovely chapter, and i really liked Billfish and Tomfish. alont with Bill playing along with Tom's "outrage" over their ruined anniversary

haha it is not possible that you have an empty head. proclivity, umbrage, fastidiously, intrepidity, licentious ...this chapter is chock-full of smart! don't stop using the awesome words! i love it. i took the most advanced english and lit courses in my high school as well, but I didnt learn anything nearly as fine as "pulchritude" or "proclivity" xD probably because california is stupid haha. ~oh, Canada~! I am really shocked and apalled by how few reviews this story has altogether. really?? i mean please. lol. wow, tho. i am really psyched about the chapter number having been underestimated, too! dude, i did that too. my story...i figured when i started posting that i was almost done, as i had prewritten the first 14 chapters or so, but something happened and now I am writing chapter 28 and the end is still a bit far off...:)
