I don't know! lol I WANT Sallie to pick Tom, but I think it would be good for the story to pick Jamal. Maybe Sallie and Tom could be together somehow in the end, yknow? Ouch! That's really devastating..how her mother died..kinda unexpectedly. I know there's more behind her death. It doesn't make too much sense to me but it's still early in the story lol. Only the second chapter. haa
So it's confirmed, she's African American. xD 10x better to me. xD
Ugh. I know so many Latreese personality's it's not even funny. Those like her always critisize me about my taste for "white people's music". I like how you're writing: completely real. It would be missing that element if the twins-particulary Latreese-wasn't negative about her liking "Monsoon" and rock.
About Dexter and Stephanie, I really pity their situation.=( It was really nice of Sallie to let her stay in her room, too!

WOW! Very great first chapter. It's always tough reading the first chapter beacuse on the author knows what's going on.
This main character Sallie seems cool to me. We haven't seen her personality just yet, just little pieces of her everyday life.
Her brown skin? (Yes, I saw the banner lol. She looks like a bit Indian-America, African-American or a mixture of African American and something else. I saw your page and is it you in the banner?! lol) That's unique. This is the first story I've read on here where the main character isn't a white person. xD Except for the members of Tokio Hotel, of course. ;)
Her past is kind of all over the place. But I have a feeling it'll be more clear soon. I just started reading so everything is being thrown in my face, yknow? Mrs. Moon is such a hag. lmao "Was it saggy?" Hahaa!
I'll be checking out the next chapter! ^_^
