Wow, I am so shocked at the amount of people that have a problem with a simple move that'll save all the owners' asses.
Three words: Get A Grip. If you cannot Get your own Grip, I have one you can use.

I'm kind of (and by kind of I mean severely) shocked by how many people are throwing a fit over something this minor. I'm not sure what angers me more, the fact that there's nothing to even freak out over or the fact that people think they have a -right- to complain in such a rude and abrasive manner. I wonder, do you need to me to define "ungrateful" or can you manage to find the dictionary by yourself?
By the way, pure curiosity talking, but why the fuck do I spend time making my banners pretty and eye-catching if no one even wants to bother to look?

You know, I bet that a lot of people who only checked the front page ended up missing out on updates during times when lots were being made, or if they were away from the website for very long. The front page has never had a "previous/back/next" button like the Recents page, has it? It's for this reason that I stopped using the front page to browse a long time ago. I'd hate to miss anything good! ;)

No it's not. All you have to do is click the recent button. Everything on the front page is on the recent page.

I think it's a possitive thing, god knows we don't want to lose the site. TBH I would scroll down the recents on the home page, open anything I thought might be good then go to 'recents' and look stuff up by catagory anyways.
I think the thing that people are overeacting about is not just the change but theres a lot of tension just now and people maybe just think that everything is against them and are using this small thing as a rant... that's what LJ and MSN and Bebo are for...
Hell, maybe I am speaking out of turn with all this... but it's something people will just need to get used to I guess...

I preferred when it was in the homepage, it was much more accessible, and more eye-catching. But, hum, if the admins think its better, then sure, i'll adapt.. =)

Eh, it's the same with the recent as with the front page. Your story will still be there, so I am pretty positive you'll get readers through there, too. Get a kickass banner and no one will manage to take their eyes off it! ;p

If you're upset about your story not being on the home page, DEAL. There are so many updates that your story would get pushed off in a matter of minutes anyway, sheesh. The Recent page is way more convenient, so you should be THANKING Darcy and Arianne, not spazzing all over them. Oh, and right, they kinda pay for the site too?
