Important THF News Because of this, THF is now permanently banned from using Paypal, which is how we collect our donations. We had some valid reasons to believe that this group of fans was attempting to cause some other problems that would result in THF being removed from our webhosts and taken off the net.
We have spoken with the people who had us banned and they have promised to take no further action in harming THF. At this time we are not worried that THF will be removed from our server. So, there is no need for anyone to delete their stories, though backing up your work is always suggested.
The big problem that has resulted from this is that THF is no longer able to use Paypal. Luckily, we have paid our webhosts (thanks to all of your amazing donations!) five months in advance. We also have extra money saved from these donations to keep THF afloat a bit after that as well.
We will attempt to find a new way to collect donations in the near future, so don't worry about the website going down because of payment issues.
We are very upset over what has happened, and that this group chose to take such harsh measures against us. We've already had some authors remove their fan fic from THF because of what has happened and that makes us very sad.
We appreciate all of your support through this, and we want to try and do everything we can to keep THF on the web and our members happy with what we offer.
You are all amazing. :)

I think for those of us deleting; it was a big wake up call that some things written are NOT ok in the 'real world' and if anything did happen, we have our bases covered. I feel bad for people like ImaginaryNumbers who deleted it all; I only deleted a few that were questionable, but I think that's why a lot of people deleted some fics when they panicked. As for donations, there are other ways than paypal, and I'm so glad this site is ok. T__T

Make sure you let us know how we can continue donating AS SOON as you guys figure this out. If you need any help, don't hesitate to post it in the news to let us know. This site may be your baby, your world, but we all live in it. We don't want it going anywhere any more than you do. *clings and huggles*

Yeah, I'm asking this all over the place but I wanna make sure you see it. Couldn't you just make a "personal" PayPal that we put money in and you can use that for "whatever you want to"? Or is that too shifty?

I feel at least partially responsible for this. As a mod on the site in question, if I would have known that this was going to happen, I would have warned you guys. I love THF as much as the next person, and as soon as you have a new way to collect donations, I'll definitely be making one. It doesn't make it better at all, but I think it's the least I can do at the point. :|

I'm so sorry you guys are going through this. I can't believe anyone would be so spiteful. All THF has ever done is make a ton of people happy, myself included. I'm so relieved to hear that the site is staying! I honestly can't imagine not having it :( There has to be some other way to recieve donations, and at least there is a little time to figure that out. Thanks so much for standing your ground against these people. We all really appreciate it, and support THF 100 percent! x

What did THF ever do to that other place? I mean that's pretty bogus of them for reporting you. They do the same thing in terms of "sexual" stuff, don't they? If they use PayPal then... :/ I know revenge isn't the best thing to have, but that was a bitch thing of them to do. I guess we should all just be faithful the site is gonna be around for a while longer! Lol maybe we can send you money orders when we want to donate.

Hey guys! I'm reliefe everything is going okay. So, I was reading that you can have your donations via sms in some countries, the problem is that they just give you part of the money :s I hope you can find another way of getting the money to keep making all of us happy^^

It's terrible that some people would try to harm this site- it is for thousands of people's enjoyment and part of me would die if I ever lost it. :( I'm really glad it is all good now, and my optimism and love goes to the people keeping this site up for us. You are truly awesome and I hope you know just how much all your hard work means to me and many others. :)

I'm really upset about this, what they did was utterly malicious and uncalled-for. I'm going to set aside a bit extra every month and if it comes to sending personal checks, I will definitely be mailing one your way when the time comes.

It's sad that someone who obviously enjoyed themselves here at one point can get so sour that this happens. The fandom is a bit "smack down" greedy but as proven in the past we will collectively work to keep this place going.

Okay aside from Paypal there is a list of other sites you can use to make payments and such. there is a list found here http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080426201334AAk532G And they give varied explinations. As for backing up I'm gonna do that now, and pray we can keep the site running.

I hate that this happened. *hugs* I ready THF every damn day. It's totally taken over my life, lol. I missed donating recently, but I will be more than happy to send you a big stack of cash - just say it and send me an address. This site is awesome and I'm embarrassed by the actions of some of the so-called fans. Bill would be so disappointed. How's he supposed to get his twincest fix if THF isn't here? ;) xoxoxo

Like everyone else, I flipped the FUCK out when I heard that there was the tiniest SLIVER of a possibility that THF was going down. I automatically started a series of RTs on Twitter. If anything happens, I've actually stored back about $200 for THF.
