Author's Response: I didn't feel it was as good as the other chapters. I needed a way for Tom to come back into the story though and every other way I wrote this chapter just bombed and ended up with them fighting :( So, a crummy chapter between a few goods ones is worth a good story, I suppose!

Yay for Tom not being a complete asshole to Bill....as for Samantha....I'm going with 4 short words: Long Walk, Short Cliff! Child Neglect is just horrible, espeically when it comes from the mother.
