NO! This space is perfect, because people are stubborn like this in real life and they fight so much along the way when they were really defeated in the first place. And that's exactly where Tom is going. I just really hope that Tom is wrong and he doesn't end up hurting Bill so bad that it can't be fixed later.
Even if he's so right about himself in the first place. It would make me sad.

Tom is slowly opening up to Bill, but he has a secret that's killing him inside, and nothing can happen between them until Tom reconciles with it. I guess we'll have to see if Tom does or doesn't betray Bill, eh?rn

Author's Response: :D That makes me happy. NO!! I definitely have NOT forgotten about this story--it's my fave to write! It's just been sooo difficult for me lately because I work 9 hour long volunteer service hours for a month at a company with elderly people dying of alzheimers disease because it's recquired for my school, and I've been drowning in absolute exhaustion. Don't give up hope, I'll come around!

Very interesting. I've just stumbled upon this story and read it in one go. There's just something about it...idk...a suffocating feeling...Tom is very unsympathic and he seems to be tangled up in some dark, poisonous web. I hope Bill will be able to free him. But i'm afraid it will cost him a lot of pain. maybe both of them.

One thing (among the many amazing things about your writing and your story) that I REALLY love is how you are able to incorporate the surroundings so intricately in each chapter. You always describe the nature surrounding them so beautifully and it really paints a picture and makes the scenes so much more enjoyable. I really liked the whole sunset-thing! It was also really symbolic, although subtly.

I thought this whole scene was really beautiful. You didn't rush anything, and you made sure to let us know that Tom is trying to change, but he is having a lot of trouble. You let us know that his inner conflicts and demons and whatever else that's eating him inside is STILL THERE even though he's choosing to fight it somehow. These conflicts didn't just evaporate. It was really well developed and I can't wait for things to progress!
This was a huge turning point! And it lived up to and OVER my expectations.

Tom can never fully let go of his past...and even though it may seem he's making a big deal out of 'one gay remark', there is still much more to be revealed. *evil smirk*. *Sniffs as well* I think I smell it too! I agree. Dialogue wasn't needed. I know what it's like to feel like it's not goo enough when that happens. But really, it was perfect. Short chapters can be good
