Author's Response: I know :( Not to justify Tom's betrayal, but he really couldn't help it after the depth of pain caused by homosexuality. Just have faith!! Well, Tom has been acting very stnad-offish toward Mellissa for a while now. He was just done pretending that she is the type of person he wants to be with when he doesn't. She's too perfect and really has no depth, but most of all, she's a GIRL. Tom doesn't like girls, as revealed through the last few chapters. I hope that explanation helped? I cannot even TELL you the noises I made when Tom kissed Mellissa! My husband gave me the strangest looks. My stomach is churning, I swear to god and I just want to shake Tom HARD. UGH! I know, I know, it's drama, but Dammit! Bill is too precious, too raw, too OPEN now to Tom and he fucking did THAT? UGH. I think you wrote it well because you totally got a huge reaction out of me.

I know the majority of readers despise Tom right now, but they've got to understand Tom's sensitivity and the depth of pain that his homophobia and homosexuality has caused him. Damn Tom for trying so hard to fool not only Georg, Gustav and the other's around, but himself too, and in the process ruin everything good he had...poor Bill-having gone through what he has, then to trust Tom completly only to be betrayed...he will be lucky if Bill will even look at him. I can just see the tear's flowing down his face...

I'm just so....It's beautiful. Emotional. It really took Bill guts just to reveal his past. Hell, I would too, if my life was traumatic like that. OH, they kissed under the moonlight in the lavender fields. That whole description right there, of the fields in the night, I vision it, and made me wish I live in a place like that.
The whole world was sleeping, but the moon was wide awake.

I just did my happy dance, and I don't do that for everyone. You should feel special. :D This was amazing. When I found out Bill was about to tell his secrets, I groaned internally because I thought things would get really cliche, really quickly. However, you made sure everything was really unique and original. But anyway, I absolutely LOVED this chapter and I hope your finals went well.

It's very difficult to avoid cliches in this story, and I'm trying but it gets hard because I outlined all the chapters almost a year back and it was my first story ever. Please update. I will be looking out for this story the most. I love Bill's open-minded, forgiving, kind and loving nature. It makes me want to open my heart and love everything so freely like he does.
Tom is just perfect for him, completely his other half, its what makes Bill heal, and I think vise versa. They are so good for each other. Now, all they have to do is figure out their feelings :D and show everyone in their town what love can do

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I adore this story. I love that Tom is allowing himself to be who he is now.
Though we didn't know the specifics, I don't think Bill's secrets were exactly surprising. Heartbreaking, yes. But not surprising.
I really enjoyed this chapter, especially the end. ;]
