What a wonderful, wondrous, beautiful, incredible and amazing story! I love the tale like style of it. I love the fancy way of characters talking. All characters are well built and developed. I love these Tom and Bill. Even Georg, Gustav, Jorg and others are very interesting.
The idea of two sons, one for the sea and one for the land, is so interesting. I wonder what happened to their mom. I am happy for Tom and Bill reuniting and exploring the world together. They deserve to be together and to be happy. I am sad for Jorg, but it looks like he forgave his sons and they will come back to him, and may be even bring his wife back.
In short, I love love love this story! It's brilliant!

This story is such a superb example of what an increible story teller you are. I am quite familiar with the original story and I was looking forward to see what you have done with it.
My expectations were truly exceeded.
I dare to say that you write on professional level and some. Not a single dull, unnecessary moment or line in the whole story. Your story grabbed me after I read the first sentence and when it was over I felt such an ache because it was so beautifully written and I just didn't want to part from it. Sharpness of your dialogues is quite astounding, so incredibly natural and real. I felt like I was watching a movie while reading, everything became so vivid.
You use language with such finesse, richness and incredible variability. It is never flat and never seems to slip into an automatized default writing style. You writing is somehow so fresh and so, so light, like mountain air so easy and delightful to breathe.
Simply fabulous.

This was an interesting read. So good though. Loved how Bill and Tom kept seeing each other, how Jorge let them go though he didn't want to. How Gustav and Georg were in this.

Wow. This story took my breathe away. The way you write it is kind of poetic and I felt melancholia and yearning, yet I was feeling hopeful and happy. Lots of mixed emotions here.I felt like crying when Jörg waved back. The poor guy.
I'm glad that he showed them love his own way at the end despite his previous words.He certainly didn't mean them. His life is so sad, but there's hope for him too.Hope for tenfold happyness when his sons return back to him.
This story left me speechless, like anything you wrote that I've read. I hope the godess of words won't cease to fuel your pen with magic.

The seal thing is a little hard to understand at first but the story itself is great. I admire how you can portray each setting and character so realistically with seemingly no effort.
I know I'm repeating myself but you need to be constantly reminded of how good your writing is.
