I liked the first part , with Tom's memory,it showed a very important part of their personality , like the love each other , they want to be with each other , but it's so difficult to let that vanity go .:(
Author's Response: Emily killed herself when Tom left her for Rebecca because she was 'unstable'. Rebecca hates Tom not only for the slap but also for everything he did. I don't really have words for this chapter.It was so intense , at least in my opinion , I mean we've finally received the exact explanation as to why he left and how he left and all that.And maybe he just has to forget everything , take everything from the beginning and do it better .I'm glad Tom returned to NY maybe he'll just have a chance to move on , understand some things and just let them go,he needs that ; running away didn't help too much.

yeah , now I'm sure Isabel is a great person ;)) and I feel sorry for her , because she suffers so much over her killed boyfriend.It's interesting how they are looking for comfort into each others arms,actually I think this happens in reality too ...in some way , like when you have a problem and you just call a friend ,only to be with somebody and not all by yourself.I've always thought your stories are kind of...realistic ..at least the feelings ;))
I would be glad if Tom would have a discussion with Rebecca about what happened that night,it seems like the best thing,because Tom won't forget everything that easy.

Drama ...:D Yeah , Tom is an idiot for hitting Rebecca,but ...he had his reasons , somehow.I mean he suffered a lot , and maybe he still does , and he kept everything in himself for so long , it was his own way of realising some pain he keeps inside.Atleat,that's my opinion.I'm curious about what Isabel will say about Tom's story.She really is a gorgeous girl.

This chapter was so great.It's interesting how no matter what happened between them (tom and rebecca) he still feels so calm and peaceful with her.So maybe he really loves her ...i seriosly start considering this thought;)).
At the same time , Isabel seems so nice too , but well , we'll see more about them in the next chapters .

It's beautiful. It's really beautifyl, the thing that Tom thought at the part, I could almost feel his emotions, his feeling, his hope, waiting, disappointment. Yeah... he tried to think about her as a bitch but he actually can't because he love her.
And you know, that things about comparing his seven years old swimming lesson and the situation with Rebecca is kinda genius, becase it's so... so mimaginative =) Yeah, and I'm happy. Really.

I think it's kinda habitat to come to your story and start crying, because... I don't know how you do it, the one word, the one phrase and I'm crying like a softie. It's really... This scene between Tom and Rebecca... it's perfect. Full of emotions, full of begging and I'm sure that Rebecca want to forgive him, want to trust him, but the remember of what he's done and... she just have to make a right decision and I wish she would be at that party. I wish. I fucking wish. There are so much shit between them and they just need to let it go and write a new story of their life on a new blank page....

Wow! He's finally done that. I can't... can't even describe what I feel right now. It's the huge desire them to be together, because... two halves of the same soul, as Tom said. This scene when Rebecca fucking him, it's making me out of my mind, because there was so much pain, suffer and... I feel like she want to forgive him, want to believe, but she's afraid, that she would suffer again, she afraid that he would hurt her again. But I believe that this time Tom wouldn't hurt her. I want to believe in that. I hope that everything will be fine.
