Author's Response: Haha I've been trying to expand my writing style more since I always start out writing a fic with the intentions of making it different but then that little voice inside my head tells me "Make Tom evil" and it's kind of hard to resist.
This was definitely one of my first 'better fics' that I ever wrote and I just fell in love with this Tom character. So glad that you enjoyed it and were able to the progression of my writing skills as the years went on

Author's Response: Yeah at the time when writing it I was pretty callous to the whole thing, but then when I went back and read it I was sobbing my eyes out. On one hand you want Bill to be with Bushido but then one the other you really pity Tom and know that's so in love with Bill that it's driven him to insanity. It's a difficult choice to choose who to root for
