Oh my gosh I love the culture and biological factors that you have created for Bill's species. I was picturing him like this cuddley pink fuzzball the whole chapter becasue he's so cute.
You came up with an excellent excuse for why Tom has to keep Bill, and I love the fact that he really doesn't want to be saddled with him. Instant love is so annoying (unless it's one-sided and involves alien Bill)
