“Well, if you say it without the Tresian accent, his name is Bill. I imagine he was born after the Nier arrival, which explains the name. Back then, it was fashionable to name children after alien names, so it was probably the same for the aliens, too.” – lol

“I tried to teach him your name, but the closest he can get is 'Tomi', because of his accent. I told him you wouldn't mind.” - *cracks up*

“So, once they turn ten, they begin sleeping alone to instill a sense of individuality and independence. When they turn fifteen, they enter society as adults and begin the search for a mate.”
“And the point of telling me all this was...?”
“You don't get it do you? After they turn ten, the only person they ever sleep with is their mate.” – I love the sociology lesson!!!

“Tresians thrive on touch.” Andreas couldn't help smiling at Tom's raised eyebrows. “No, really. They can't keep their hands off each other. That's why he looks so melancholy, you've been neglecting him.” - *giggles*

Just as Andreas had predicted, Bill's spirits seems to lift immediately. He raised his head and nuzzled against the outstretched hand, gazing at Tom adoringly. – lol he has a big puppy!!!

“What exactly am I getting out of keeping him around, anyway?”
“An obedient, faithful, loving companion. Isn't that enough?”
“If I wanted that, I would have gotten a dog.”
“I didn't realize that was your thing, but last I checked, fucking a dog was illegal.” - *cracks up* awesome! OMG awesome!

“It's a moot point, because it isn't happening. Not only do I already have a girlfriend, but he's male, he's an alien, I hardly know him, he's barely legal, and he doesn't speak a word of English. The only reason I'm keeping him around is because kicking him out apparently makes me a murderer!” - *giggles, snorts and snickers*

“I'll prove it to you.” Andreas turned to Bill and said something in Tresian. Bill looked surprised, but obediently began to pull off his shirt. - *giggles and grins*

“There goes my day off.” – what does Tom do? Can he take Bill to work with him?

“It'll be good for your relationship.”
“Why do I care about that?”
“Have you still not gotten it through your thick skull that you're going to be spending the rest of your life with this guy?” - *giggles*

So let me get this right Tom is now “married” to Bill who can’t speak his language, doesn’t understand the other’s culture and if they don’t touch enough Bill get’s all depressed and eventually dies, he can’t leave his side and he’ll never get rid of him. *giggles* I really really love this story!!!!
