he's good with languages. He speaks Rashi fluently, and is fairly adept at Hakkai and Freyer. – I wonder if Tom will learn these languages from Bill?

Kyrs informed Tom that they were soaked in antibacterial fluid, and then proceeded to assure him that it was harmless on the digestive system. – they’re going to eat with their hands?

He held it up to Tom, who reached to take it. Bill frowned and pulled away until Tom put his hand down, confused. Bill tried again, now pressing the food to Tom's lips. Tom glanced at Kyrs for help. She giggled. – Bill and Tom are going to get so frustrated between the language barrier and the cultural difference *shakes head* I can’t wait. I bet some of it’s going to be very funny!

The pastry-ball burst in his mouth, and apparently was filled with some sort of sweet, tangy sauce that left a pleasant prickling feeling on his tongue after he swallowed. – weird and cool!

“The first meal is exciting for a new couple, because it's the first time they feed someone other than themselves. It's a very good bonding experience.” – awh so cute!

Tom felt a sick, guilty feeling, realizing this really was their first meal; he had completely forgotten to feed Bill all day. – lol he’s not a puppy!

He didn't eat a lot himself, in fact, he often didn't realize he was hungry until food was available, and it hadn't even crossed his mind to wonder if Bill was hungry. – I’m on the same page over here. I forget to eat all the time!

“Good choice,” Kyrs approved. “That's one of his favorites, and you instinctively chose it. I knew you two were meant to be together.” – Tom doesn’t! Tom still doesn’t believe that they are!

He held the red thing out to Bill apprehensively, who delicately wrapped his lips around it and pulled it from between Tom's fingers. Tom felt a tingle of arousal at the oddly erotic sensation of Bill's lips sliding along his fingertips, and blushed. This was not happening, he was not getting turned on by this. - *grins* More!!!! More!!!!!!

After a moment's observation, he realized Bill was doing the same. Curious, he pointed to one of the ones Bill hadn't given him to try, gesturing that he wanted Bill to pick that one next. Bill looked surprised, and a little unsure, but obediently picked it up. He held it out to Tom, who curiously bit into it.
He instantly regretted it. Whatever it was , it was bitter and slimy on the inside. He choked and made a face while Bill made apologetic motions and Kyrs laughed. – awh *shakes head* silly boy!

“We operate as a single being with our mates, functioning as one entity. Something as simple as knowing what the other likes to eat is trivial compared to what a well-bonded pair can do. It's possible that your bond might not be as strong because of you not being Tresian... But that doesn't seem to be a problem yet, so I wouldn't worry about it.” Kyrs smiled. – I don’t think that Tom was worried about that only about the fact that he’s now mated to a guy! A guy who doesn’t speak English. lol

“Are you guys moving somewhere?” – ah ha ha *cracks up*

“There he goes. He probably wants to get dressed up for you. You might want to sit down, this could take a while...”
And take a while it did. Tom was still waiting two hours later when Bill finally returned from wherever it was he had been. – oy!!!

What shocked him was what he hadn't before realized about Bill: Bill was utterly, breathtakingly beautiful. – awh!!! So cute!!!!!

Ok I never ask for this but…OMG more bitte I love this story its so fucking fluffy!!!! *waves hands around* when ever you get around to it but sooner rather then later and after SMRM blah blah blah then this one for sure!!!!!!!

I really like Tom's discoveries of Tresian culture and how firmly his coffin is nailed shut--er, I mean, regarding his new arrangements! Somehow I think Tom's not quite done fighting the hook as far as his relationship with Bill is concerned, but admitting that Bill is beautiful is a GREAT first step, Tomi.

Augh, since there's no more, I think I'll have to go and re-read it from the beginning. =)
