You did Melancholia quite well! I'm a big fan of hers, and I really liked this a lot. But, you know, it's you, and I'm a big fan of yours, too. Very nicely done. :)
Author's Response: And... I'm speechless. Thank you.

You are NOT just playing with brilliance here. This IS brilliant. I've read stories narrated like this and they sucked, but yours is masterfully played and I love the existentialism. :) Even though I can't stand Nietzsche.
Author's Response: Awww, thank you. Your review made me so proud. I don't particularly like Nietzsche either, but he's too powerful and for me to ignore...

Sad, but incredibly beautifully done. I wish there was more, but at the same time, not.
Author's Response: *sigh* That's exactly how I hoped you would feel at the end - thank you.

Author's Response: It's sort of intended to be read twice (things at the end are meant to shed a different light on some of the events at the beginning) so don't feel bad - you responded the way I hoped readers would respond :) I'm so happy you liked it - thank you!

I merely wanted to check if anything good had been updated before I went to bed, and this caught my eye so I decided to check it out. Imagine my surprise when I notice that it was dedicated to me. I'm very flattered, I assure you. For the record, Nietzsche and Camus are two of my very favorites. Now, moving onto the writing itself, I really do adore it, and the dialogue in particular. I like the themes, and some of the metaphors are unforgetable. I adore this, truly. You did a wonderful job.
Author's Response: I remember exactly where I was when I first read the Myth of Sisyphus... afterwards I had a sort of panic attack in which I truly thought that somehow the oxygen had been stripped from the air I was breathing. Your review means so much to me... I debated heavily about posting this because I didn't want you to feel that your style had been bastardized (Sarah, the other girl whose style I drew from gave me the okay beforehand). By far my favorite thing to write is dialogue (if I wasn't so scared of failure/my family's disapproval, I would attempt to become a playwright), so that you found mine worthwhile to read is very high praise. Thank you so much.

Wowthat was intense. Shockingly strange, and quite...relaxing I found. How strange am I? lolz Good job!
Author's Response: I would never have thought to describe it as "relaxing," but now that you have, I can see why you found it that way. Thank you!
