I know this is a long shot, but I just read this entire thing in one day and it was so good! Hopefully you find the inspiration to continue it sometime soon. I'm really curious to see how Kelli and Bill make up in the future.
She seems like the kind of person who definitely just wants to keep things professional, but there's something else there. I remember Bill saying that he would never cheat on her, so maybe something happened to her in the past? I'm curious to see what you had in mind for this story.

oh, I've read this all over again, I was so happy you came back with it! It is my favorite subject: difficult Bill/OFC relationships, so I am so eager to see what happens. Poor Bill should hold onto his pride a little bit more, Tom was so right. Well, the voice of experience...Goes for real life too, when someone rings your bells so hard, you sometimes fail to hear them anymore. It's not fair, but that's how it is. I like your story so far; there's just one thing I don't agree: I don't think bill would ever hide from tom that he was seeing someone, he could hide it to everyone else but not to him.
