What a wonderful ending! I'm sad it's over, but I know that they are well and truly happy together and I'm very happy that Bill took the chance when he had it and embraced his future.
And I'm glad that Tom was the better boy for it that didn't reject him outright just because he was the same sex.
They just proved that no matter what happens, true love does stand anything life throws at you. This was a very beautiful story and it captivated me since the first chapter I read oh so long ago.
