Bill was laying on his back on a red leather couch, no shirt and his pale silky skin glistening with sweat. He was puffing on a cigarette heartily, and Gustav was sitting on the couch opposite Bill, Georg stretching his legs for him. My eyes didn't linger there long. My eyes floated back to Bill and then back to Tom again.
