I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

I thought Tom was dead. I thought Bill hadn't yet forgiven himself or Tom for Tom dying (I wouldn't forgive myself of my lover if he died protecting me... not that that's possible, seeing as I don't have a lover... *sigh*), but I'm glad Tom wasn't dead. Although, at the same time, I kinda wish he had died. I feel like that would've been... I dunno, better, somehow. Like Andreas had to die to be forgiven for his sins, and Bill had to lose the only thing he ever really wanted to atone for his... because no matter that he was the victim, he still engaged in and encouraged violent acts against others. Wonderful story, and I can't believe I missed it before. I LOVED your reference to Twilight - I hate that series too, and I actually have a pin that says "My vampires don't sparkle" XD (How that can be called romance I have no idea - I mean, it's more like "look at my fucked up head. I can't live without him, so I'm going to kill myself. la da dee da dum!" (all said in a suuuper-high-pitched voice XD)) ANYWAY! This story was amazing, and those last two chapters were wonderful. It was... VERY dramatic. It was really pretty surreal, but it was awesome because of that. It was very OOC, but I feel like that was because you weren't really writing a fanfic. You were writing a story - a story that could be published, even. I really loved this fic, and I'm positive that if you changed Bill and Tom's last names (and possibly changed their first names, and Andi's name... and perhaps Gustav's as well) to names that are unconnected with Tokio Hotel, you could get this published. Hell, I'd buy it XD And people have published worse things, and people have published bloodier things - even for books meant for teens (don't like the term "teen lit") people have written bloodier things. I know. I've read some of them (they're CRAZY bloody, some of the ones I've read XD). The wordplay you employ in here is wonderful, and it really does remind me of Shakespeare's allowed fools. Definitely a favorite story. Oh, and by the way, I started reading this at about one AM, and didn't finish until two forty AM. I stayed up REALLY late to finish this, because I couldn't even contemplate NOT finishing it today XD And I have to get up early tomorrow. But this was so good that I couldn't help it XD Amazing job, Misa-san ^-^

Author's Response: Excellent point. If I ever re-write this for any reason, I'll bash Tom more too. :D I don't know why I didn't. I don't even like Tom that much. XDDD As for Georg... Um... he just didn't fit anywhere. XD

Reading this chapter was like reading a scene with one of Shakespeare's allowed fools. The allowed fool in this case is Tom. The one in power is (obviously) Bill. They're playing the most wonderful word-games, and I feel like you must be brilliant at manipulating and playing with words in real life, to be able to write something like this. In Shakespeare's time, they actually TAUGHT people (men) wordplay. It'd probably be so fun to play at words with you... if I was any good at it XD Awesome chapter =)
