Aww, that's so sad that Bill didn't get to marry Tom... I thought for sure he would, after he was given those jewels to wear. I suppose it's fair though, except when Bill doesn't get to sit by his man. I'm happy at the same time, because I knew Tom would be an awesome ruler... Smart, fair, lovable. Yay! ^_^ And he's got Bill. Always a good thing.
You did a great job wrapping this story up, filling in gaps and tying up loose ends. I'd been wondering this whole fic if Bill's mother was ever going to get to know if he was still alive, so I'm glad she did.
I'd kinda like to see a scene of what happens to Tom when he comes down from watching the eclipse, to where he ends up beaten and tied up in the throne room. That's just because it's fresh on my mind, and it might be too random to toss in with a bunch of additional sex-filled scenes, so it's alright if you don't. I'm all about those other "cookie" chapters though! lol
Again, LOVED this fic. It's one of my favs, and I'm a little bummed it's over. Thanks so much for writing it!
Author's Response: The ending isn't perfect; it's got happy and sad parts. But overall I was going for mostly happy, since Bill and Tom get to be together from now on. Glad to hear that I was able to fill in all the gaps for you.
Yeah, with a bunch of sex cookies, Kidnapped Tom wouldn't really fit, plus it's not a major point. But in my mind it went like this: Tom hears a scream, goes to investigate, comes across Salim's men killing people, they drag him to the throne room.
I'm so flattered that you're bummed.

Wow, talk about an action-packed chapter! That was one hell of a climax to the story too! I didn't see any of that coming, but I can't think of a better way to have everything come to a head. That had to be so scary for everyone in the palace... guards cutting down everyone they pass, nobody knowing exactly what's going on and who's on what side. Terrifying actually. I think the moon's eclipse was a bad omen of what was to come in this chapter. Foreshadowing? The sultan got what was coming to him I guess- he kind of deserves it for treating Tom and Bill like he did. I may have missed this in all the action happening: was Tom's mother one of the ones killed?
Author's Response: I didn't mention whether Ankara was killed or not. You can imagine what you want I guess, but in my head she did not die. Thanks for the review.

SHIT! Ijust found a major error in this! I have it written where Tom's supposed to be in Bill and then this:"then Tom had taken them both in hand, wringing sweet agony from their trapped and long-neglected cocks." Gah! That makes no sense! *hides face in embarassment for such a stupid mistake*
Author's Response: =)

I like it better with Bill, not some girl. I just don't like it but I do love this story. So, again I'm gonna keep on reading.
Author's Response: Not everybody likes the side pairings with OFCs, but it's the reality of the situation, and erasing all difficulties to make things convenient would result in a boring and amateur plot. I do not want that. Glad you're still reading.

I wouldn't care if I were a slave I would so kick Tom's ass. He is such a prick. I'm gonna keep reading.
Author's Response: Well, in the context of this society he really isn't. Tom's been raised as a prince and heir to the throne, exhalted by almost everyone. He's been served by and/or owned his own slaves for his entire life. And social norms kind of justify his expectation of respect from slaves. But I don't think Bill cares.

Loved this chapter
Author's Response: Thanks.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
More than love. Is there such feeling? Not sure but this story is just... More than fantastic. It's more than words can describe, I am sure.
You're writing is seriously awe-worthy and you are just... More than talented. You are fantastic, for sure.
you're characters and plot is just such an interesting thing and I am so in love with this story, you have no clue. No. Clue.
Author's Response: Thanks for all the praise! Glad you liked it.

LOL! Anis as a eunuch :DDD
A note on your notes:
The capital of SA is Riyadh, not Ridyah. And 'habibi' is an endearment for 'good friend', not 'beloved'.
Author's Response: =) yeah, I made him a eunuch.rnrnI know about the spelling for Riyadh, but didn't know about the habibi thing. I thought it sort of meant like, "sweetie" or something.

I like AU and slave fics. But a 'Bill' who has a brother named 'Omar'...? That's really AU :) Maybe the rest of the story will explain this?
Good start :)
Author's Response: It's set in a sort of middle eastern-ish place, so a lot of the names will be like that. Don't worry, Omar is barely mentioned in this fic.

That was such a beautiful story!! I just read the entire thing and it was absolutely perfect!!
I loved this the last sentence "The name stuck, and for most of his adult life, the dark-haired man would be addressed as prince Bill." I think it's the best one in this entire fic, because it means so much!! After everything he's been through and everything he (officially) can't be, I think it is amazing that Bill is referred to as 'prince Bill'! Soooo beautiful!! =)
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad to hear that you liked the way I ended it.

I've just read this from beginning to end and have to got to say what a brilliant world you've woven. I could just picture Tom and Bill walking around the palace together and I'm glad after all they have been through they've found their other halves in each other.
Author's Response: Glad you liked my world. It was soviv in my head and I really tried to get that across. Thanks for the review.

(reply) Lol, it was the "everything's happening so rapidy" confusing. And I had forgotten who Hessa, Ahmed, and Salim were DX
And about Tom, I was over-analyzing and vaguely wondering if there would be another occurence in the future where he would shirk the trial, and leading from that, if it would become a habit. Idk, random speculation.
Author's Response: Nope, Tom's always gonna be a good, fair ruler.

PS: Oh gosh, I had completely forgot about them sterilizing him. I just want to congratulate you for reviving that fact. I instantly remembered the beginning ;)
And I loved that whole conversation about Bill possibly having a woman, too. It hurt in a good way like the rest.
Author's Response: Glad you liked it.

(LOL at your beginning notes)
*little over halfway through* Omg, this is really sad :(( And yet, it kinda hurts in a good way, because this is what real life is like. It's not all rainbows and completely happy endings. But it still hurts.
*3/4 through* Hehe, Bill's army. I'll protect him too.
He’s only ever met the entire group once, - It should be he'd
Lol @ passionate, makeup sex. Can't wait to have that in my life.
Oh my god, you included Bill's mom!! And JUST when I was wondering about her =O I'm not really sure why she would not want to visit more than once... :/ I suppose because it's simply been too long; time has healed her wound of thinking Bill was dead, and she was comfortable with that, maybe... *shrugs sadly*
*end of chapter* Wow. That last little paragraph was just... It made a light warmth flow in my limbs XD And a giggle. I'm still silently squeeing as I'm typing XDD Prince Bill, indeed :)
I would positively adore it if you did cookies :D
All in all, this was a frickin amazing story (that I think I picked up around ch12, give or take one chapter). Now that it's complete, I shall favorite it!
*hearts*
Author's Response: Yeah, I did put a few sad things in there, but they're not meant to ruin the mood, more like make it bittersweet. Hopefully by the end it seems happier. And thank you for being able to appreciate that real life isn't perfect!
rnrnThanks for pointing out that typo.I ABHORE typos! I cringe every time I find one in my writing.
rnrnFor some reason I just didn't want Bill's mom or family to be forever engaged in his life. I wanted Bill's future to be something seperate from all parts of his previous life. I guess Simone's actions could be explained away as her wanting Bill to have no lingering regrets at leaving his home, or it just being important for her to know that her baby's happy and safe. I dunno, pick whatever excuse you want.
rnrnYes, now that it's FINALLY complete. I think it took me over a year and a half! So tickled that you like it enough to favorite it.rnrnrnrnrnrnrnrn

Ho-ly crap. Woah.
I was away for a while and couldn't find the time to read this and the epilogue until now.
This action-packed climax was strangely reminiscent of the end of In Somnis Veritas by Emseviltwin, which I'd say is a compliment.
Omg, what a way to ascend to the crown.
I have to admit, it was a bit confusing, which I assume was mostly my fault for devouring the thing faster than comprehension XD And for some reason I kept forgetting several people's names, mostly because a few were mentioned in chapters that were a good while ago.
Ugh, thank GAWD for Bill thinking so fast and stabbing Ahmed. And lucky that Ahmed wasn't one of those people who are still able to pull the trigger of a gun or slice a blade even as they are grievously injured/killed.
I'm not the least bit sad about the sultan either. He tried to rape Bill.
(I wonder if repeal of a trial for those people will mean anything in the future, or if it really was just a one-time thing)
Lastly, I am sad that Bill can't go to Tom's coronation :(
Author's Response: It's funny you should mention In Somnis Veritas, because as I was writing this chapter, I thought of the similarities and worried I was being a little copy cat. But hopefully it wasn't too similar.
rnrnConfusing how? Like, "this is annoying to read I can't picture what's going on" confusing, or "the fast-paced events make me feel like I'm experienceing it, everything's happening so rapidly" confusing? Who's names did you forget?
rnrnNoone was meant to be sad about Jorg. He was a douche.
rnrnYou mean will Tom get in trouble for executing them in the throne room w/o a trial? The answer is no, he won't.
rnrnYeah, it is a little sad that Bill has to miss out because of stupid societal rules, but that's the way life is. You can find happiness and even true love, but life is never perfect.

OMG this was just ...awesome! A really good ending I think. It was fun reading something different for once
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad to hear it wasn't just more of the usual for you. I always endeavor to be different.

Awww...I'm so sad this story is coming to an end, yet it was an awesome ending and one of the finer epilogues I've read in a while. F.Y.I., everytime I heard the name 'Enkil' I think of Anne Rice and the Mother and the Father. That is all.
Author's Response: Endings are hard, but I'm glad you liked mine. And I did get the name Enkil from Anne Rice. I was just watching QOTD one night and decided I liked the name and would use it.

such a sweet ending.... marvelous job!!!!!!!! *applause*
Author's Response: Thanks!

That's lovely. It's very unconventional, but amazingly beautiful at the same time.
Author's Response: Well thanks! I didn't want it to be cliched. How did you think it was "unconventional"?

Wow.
Author's Response: Q___Q Mkay.
