That was superdy-duperdy lovely. I think Tom needs some reflection time. As much as I think it would pain me to have to read his inner struggle, I think he needs to think about how he feels about Bill and what his role is. There could be a lot of drama going down. I can practically feel it, but I will not complain to you about it because it is all worth it for these little glimpses of beauty and happiness.

I started reading this last week, and I meant to comment then and I got distracted, but you have quite a way of painting this world that the guys are in. I love it! It sounds like you know a lot about the culture of the Middle East/Persia, even if you're just doing your research as you go along. I've got Middle Eastern roots, but I think mine are from further west than this is taking place. I can imagine my grandparents saying the words you use though, and I'm learning stuff regardless! Aside from all that, this is a great story. I love how the characters are unfolding and developing. Bill seems to be adapting to palace life relatively well despite his resistance at the beginning.

It's mostly influenced by Arab culture though, I guess.rnrnI'm glad I come across as knowledeagble (and not like the poser I really am).
