Author's Response: YES! That's exactly what it was supposed to feel like: passionante and needy. Not meaningless, but also not "let's consumate our love" sex. They didn't fuck, they didn't make love; they had sex.

I didn't think too hard when I wrote the dialogue for this chapter. I just had Bill speak very bluntly (which sometimes is the sexiest of all) about what they were doing and what he wanted.

i my country we make wine from virtually anything, even hibiscus flowers. a friend of mine recently made wine from hot peppers! i'm of east indian descent (i live in Trinidad) so some of this story was easy to relate to. i was thinking the classical dance Bill did might be like Bharat Natyam?

Author's Response: Well, he's kind of romantic, and you know how those roamntic people have notions of "perfect time, perfect place, perfect person, perfect execution." Plus he's still like "Whoa, hold on!" when things get hot and heavy, cause it's overwhelming for him. He's forgiven Tom, but he can't help the lingering psychological repercussions of a rape being the only sexual experience he's ever had. I mean, just think about it: three people have tried to rape this poor Boy! One succeeded.

Another speedy update I see. This chapter was sweet, good quote at the end of the chapter. I think that though Tom was trying to seduce Bill, he is starting to fall in love with him.
It's saddening that Bill is forever scarred because of what happened but I do think that he has the capacity to get over it as they both become more in love with each other. Especially because when he was able to go, he stayed anyways because he is subconsciously falling in love with Tom.
I love it.
Author's Response: You'd be right. Tom's plan to stay detached isn't quite working out as planned. But really, how could he not fall in love with Bill; he's adorable. I've never even met him and I know this.rnrnAre you talking about when he had the chance to walk right out of the palace? Because he didn't realize it until after he'd returned to the (guarded) harem, and even if he had realized in time, I'm not so sure he wouldn't have taken the opportunity and left; Tom's being nice now, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of bad things have happened to Bill during his time in the harem.rnrnThanks for your comments, glad you liked it.
