I think that they were in a relationship and or something before and it didn't workout once Tom moved out of the harem. I think that is why Tom doesn't want to get too close to Bill.
For some significant reason Aaron had to leave the Harem or he ran away or something. It broke Tom's heart and he was never the same again; he wants to stay away from giving his heart to someone that he cares so deeply about again.
Am I close?

Details are good though; they help flesh out the story. That is, unless it throws off your pacing. I guess just keep that in mind. So far it's good though! That's true, he is. Although normally he wouldn't be so patient or understanding. But Bill just gets to him and he doesn't want to hurt him, so he's playing nice. Even still, Tom's got layers of defense mechanisms going on. Sometimes they just slip is all.

No, he'd just be a boring Gary Stu. And honestly, how realistic would it have been to have him fall right into Tom's arms, begging to be fucked? Answer: Not very.

Well, your guess wasn't wrong per se, as Tom playing dead was very similar to when Anakin played dead (in fact I even thought of that scene while writing it), but the reference that I was referring to and intentionally put in was when Bill mentioned his uncle, who lives in the Rishi Maes. I know that it's actually Rishi Maze, but I didn't ike that spelling, so I changed it.
The Rishi maze is a dwarf galaxy that Kamino is just south of.
