Ok I had a problem with one thing:
I find it hard to believe that Bill would just let the issue go. I mean, didn't you say he was COVERED in blood? My fears would not be easily calmed by a few placating words. OBVIOUSY it is something serious. We all may think of Bill as being a little spastic, but I don't think even he would be convinced by Tom's shallow assurances and lame explanation.
Author's Response: Bill is not easily calmed by it, but he doesn't want to upset Tom. And he knows that since TOm said he wasn't going to tell him, he's not going too and there is no point is getting worked up over something and get upset which will just upset him more and upset Tom. It's just easier to go with the flow.
