The last time I read this fic it had only one chapter. So I was really excited to read all the updates. You express Bill's isolation and loniliness so well. It's completely tragic and sad, and I truely pity his character.
I absolutely love how you've portrayed Bill's relationship with Tom. Even though he's torturing him, he's not depicted as a villan. That's a trap most other authors would not be able to aviod. I do hope that Tom lives to change Bill's mind about things and that he's eventually freed, but maybe this isn't one of those happily ever after stories.I'll love it anyway.
I liked how you brought up the cleansing ritual but then didn't reveal what it actually consisted of until later. I was so curious about that. And this whole religion that you've created is great because not only is it elaborate, but it makes sense too, and seems like it could actually be something that people would believe and follow.
I thought that Andreas was perhaps the rat, but then he was killed. I wouldn't be too terribly shocked if it still turned out to be him though, and he was just killed to keep him silent.

Oh, and regarding what Stardust27 said: why indeed would Tom think that Bill was not heartless, even after he initiated many of his tortures? I have already been assuming that it is due to the way that Bill acted around him excepting that - gentle and soft - but maybe you could make more clear Tom's thought processes either in the next chapter or just answering the reviews.

May I tell you how much I love this story? Truly it is awesome. It would be really cool to see what Bill plans to do next. I have the slightest feeling that due to David's pressuring that Bill while make a totally irrational decision like make Tom his pet.

Ooooo... Heh, even though I'm suspicious of Lady Paige (due to reading another review), I really like her.
And I'm wondering if you would want to make it so all "her" and "she" are capitalized when referring to the Goddess. For the sake of atmosphere/authenticity.
Tom continues to boggle/impress? me with his endurance. I know for a fact that I am no good with pain, and would probably crumble even before they actually hurt me.

I've been sooo bad with reviewing...please forgive me! I've been reading this whenever you update but reviewing...I'm so lazy XD
I love this story. It's everything I hoped for a whole year ago! You're an amazing writer and even though I can't relate to Bill personally, I'm so attached and I feel everything he's going through kinda.
Everything is slowly and slowly getting clearer and every new chapter I'm always on the edge of my seat. Though sometimes I just want Bill and Tom to figure out their differences and fall in love or whatever is supposed to happen but your pacing is perfect.
I can't wait to see more Bill and Tom interaction nonetheless and learn more about Tom and the Beloved. Keep on writing!

So many questions! You really have me curious :) I think it's brave of you to take your time in building up the story, on this site a lot of writers tend to go straight to the point or speed things up in fear of losing readers or reviews. Thank you :)

I sort of figured that the slowness would make it hard for the story to hold onto a lot of peoples' attention spans, but there was really no other way I could write the thing lol. But to be honest, it's nice knowing that the people who are reading are reading for more than just smut. It makes it so much more interesting to write.

Seriously, this fic had given me a break from those usual/mediocre fanfics out there. I love the whole AU and the characterisation here.

Despite my "awwwe" for Lady Paige, I'm choosing to believe she is the rat, since that would be seriously unlikely. I'm probably completely wrong... but oh well. I'm loving this bby, I can't believe how sweet and evil Bill can be all in one story, it's great characterization.

I was thinking 'What the heck is happening??' as she climbed onto Bill's bed. Will she be disgraced and fired if he does hug her? But wait, he wanted someone to hug him, since - as you said - he is free to touch.
I continue to feel sorry for Bill and REALLY lament over Tomi. Hehe, not calling for his suffering to end (since I'm cold-hearted like that) but it is unfortunate.
And nooo, Andreas :( Poor pure and guiltless thing that he was.
