Yeah I understand that, you have a right to your own opinion, I was just sharing mine. I get that Mary Sue's can be annoying and some fics are written badly. But I just thought I'd speak for the other side. I guess I feel bad for the authors of those fics. I'm to empathic for my own good! :) There will always be Mary Sue fics, I don't think it's something you can get away from. Thankyou for dealing with my review in a gracious manner. I respect you for that.
Author's Response: I appreciate your opinion and I do believe I'm on the other side, too! I mean, who hasn't written cheesy, cliche fanfiction at least once? I'm one of those. Normally I don't agree with this sort of thing, but the way you're doing it in chapter two is a fine example of what not to do. You're doing this fic really well and I'm you're also handling the reviews with care, I'll keep reading :)

Ah, Mary Sue. As said by Mark Twain "few things are harder to put up with than good example." I share an intense dislike of the Mary Sue, they're just so horribly perfect you ache to see them do SOMETHING bad/wrong. But even then she'd probably do that perfectly to...*sigh*

One thing I forgot to say. As previously stated, this is satire, which, by it's very deffinition, is NOT, under any circumstances, to be taken seriously, IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. It's the same thing as saying, "We have a problem with population, so let's eat the babies." No one would take that statement seriously. It's not meant to be rude or callous, it's just a bit of fun! And anyone who has the nerve to actually get upset should check themselves. We are all guilty of sarcasm. I, personally, live by it! Opinions are like assholes, and everybody has one. If you don't get pissed when people use their assholes, don't get upset when someone voices an opinion. And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is my asshole. (Get it? A bit of wordplay, there...OK.)

I want to be honest with you, it's starting to annoy me that some people feel the need to pull some members work down. Not everyone is a gifted author, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't write, if that is what they want to do. If you don't like the 'cliched' fics, just don't read them. Some readers actually like those sort of stories. Just because your not a fan doesn't make it wrong. It just gets on my nerves that if your story isn't completely original and worded perfectly, it's a bad story. Just stick to the genre's you like. Everyone's happy :) . I'm not having a go, I just think everyone should have a chance at writing if they love it. They shouldn't have to change because you don't apprieciate thier style. Ok, rant over. :D
Author's Response: Ah, okay. I don't even know how to explain myself, but here it goes. I decided to write this "story" not to make fun of people or anything, but in order to make a point. I have an opinion about writing (everyone does) and so I decided to write this type of fanfic that reflects my opinion. I have two chapters up (I don't know if you read the second one) and it has a different approach on the subject. The first chapter, yes. It's a very bad one. Done on purpose. The second I consider a very decent one, where the fluff and noticeable Mary Sue are - in my opinion - well put on paper/site.
Bottom line, I have the right to have an opinion and I respect yours as well. In fact, I want to thank you for taking the time to read this. I am well aware that this will cause drama or whatever and I'm willing to take the chance. But thank you for reviewing this story. I appreciate it.

Yeah, except this has been done before. More notably by Cynical terror and Froggy. And they did it well enough for the humor to translate through. If you really have a problem with other peoples "mistakes" in fics you can leave them helpful reviews, or just not read them. This right here? Is ridiculous.
Author's Response: I'm sure other people have done this. And I have left reviews stating my opinion and helping them with their mistakes. I've been a beta, as well. This is just the first chapter which is deliberately bad. It's ridiculous, yes, on purpose. I'm sure not everyone will see the point in this, and it's okay. I wrote this as a terrible satire. And I will not compare myself to Cynical Terror or Froggy, because they are amazing writers and their style is different from mine. I admire their work, but I'll do mine.
