I like your story, it's fun and I can totally see Braden as one of those myspace emo kids.
With that said I feel like I should tell you that the age of consent in Germany is 14, so not really illegal. There are some guide lines to the age of consent under 16, but for the most part completely fine. I'm never sure if I should tell people things like this. If the story is the writer's universe or if it's a plot hole that someone hasn't pick up on yet.
If nothing else it explains his dad being so young when he had him.
