Because I wrote more than one character in a paragraph and some periods where comas should be. The pandemic has caused a surge in writing and submissions. In a way, that’s a good thing. The boys are still out there and more mature things are happening. Thanks for talking to me. 👋🏼
Author's Response: Huh, well, I guess that's a reason. It's kind of fun to think of two pages of recent stories as a surge. Back in the halcyon days of 2008-10 (before the hiatus), it felt like things were being molasses slow if there weren't at least seven. But that was such a long time ago.

Author's Response: Yay! Though massive boo to the quarantine. Proper order is: Basai, A Little Visit, The Next Step, A Little Vacation, A Not So Little Change, and The Last Step. (it's been so long since I posted these, I had to go look it up O.O) A Little Surprise is part of the universe, but not part of the canon. Basai Bakery is little cookies in universe, marked as to if they are part of the story or not. Other Halves is another version of Basai, but with a 'what if...' twist, and is not part of canon.

Okay, I spent the last couple days reading (and re-reading at times ;P) the entire Basai series, and I'm upset that I hadn't read it sooner and that I had so many interruptions that I couldn't read the entire series in a day. Lol. But anyway, I just want to say that I adored this series so much, from the main story itself to every little side story, and background story, and even Other Halves as a whole new story of its own, even though that one did break my heart a bit. Then again, there were so many other parts in the main story and side stories that made me cry as well. XD
I absolutely love Emperor Tom's character. I tend to have a favorite character in the fics I read, but I honestly think that I developed a bit of a crush on Emperor Tom. x)
Oh, and I also have a new appreciation for almonds. XD
Anyway, I just wanted to say this series and every story in it is simply amazing and that I loved them all to bits, and that I'll definitely be on the lookout for anymore cookies in the bakery.
And last little thing, the reason I'm reviewing in this particular story and chapter is because I have to say that the part where the Emperor asked "Who is it?" when Tom said it wasn't him made me literally laugh out loud for a good five minutes the first time I read it, and it still sends me into a fit of giggles each time I read it again. XD

You're not alone at all in the love for the Emperor. He seems to have struck a chord with a lot of people. Hell, if I could yank him out of the story and keep him myself, I most definitely would. :)

Oh, man...I'm really enjoying these stories. I held off on reading them, even though I normally love your stuff, because the whole Tom/Tom thing was a bit off-putting. But you handle the dynamic really well, making the relationship with Bill so cute and brotherly that I don't even mind that he and Tom aren't getting it on.
Now I'm wasting a whole afternoon catching up on all of these. (not that I mind.)

I love this. I mentioned this earlier, but I'm seriously in love with this entire series. You had me at Basai. And then A Little Visit. And now this! And now I'm all upset, hoping that there's going to be another part of this! Because...you know...that would be awesome.
Seriously. That would make my day...or week, or whatever so I don't go all "emo" on the world, according to my friends, who have never seen an emo kid in their life, and if they had they'd know that I'm the farthest from one, I might add. But that's irrelevant. Sorry for the blathering on!
And back to what I was saying...you have to write another part to this, because I have to know what happens next(I bet you've got it all planned out...)! :)
