Okay, first off: I love this story, but this chapter made me giggle... because apparently Gabrielle has split personality disorder and turned into a Danielle.... hahaha. Might want to fix that.
And then this made me laugh: "... a kid to take care, a career to end, an apartment to pay, a father to pleasure..." I think it's better to say, "A father to please" because pleasure makes it sound like Tom needs to give sexual favours to his old man.
So yea, I realise it's unbeta'd, but I couldn't help but point that out. ^_^ You made me laugh, which is good cause I'm all sick, and I can't really talk w/o sounding like a dying cat.
