Yeah, it's worth reading, but at the risk of ruining it a little, I HATED the way it ended. It's just...soooo depressing, and I'm a fairly sensitive person. Things should go wrong, people should die, but the ending should be good and maybe a little better than the bitter/sweet ending this one had. It's basically about this boy nicking something from a vampire and becoming one as payment to save his friend who is in trouble because of his stupidity.
There's about 12 or 13 books in the series, and they're making a movie out of it now. They've already got a cast although some of the actors are a real let down.

Yeah, they should always have fangs ^w^
But I don't like the idea of things living forever, everything needs to die at some point, even if it is after a million years. It's kinda morbid, saying that everything has to die, but I don't like the idea of things living forever, it just seems so depressing...
But also the vampires of Darren Shan aren't exactly immortal. They're a thousand times stronger than a human, granted, but they can easily die from a stab wound to the stomach like a human. I dunno, anyways you're welcome ;)
Author's Response: Lol i get what you mean, I just always felt that vampires are immortal creatures. They CAN live forever but lets be honest, I doubt any of them actually would. They can still be killed and what not but to each his own. :) I'm going to have to look up this Darren Shan, is it worth reading?

Great job! I can totally see this as the end but I'm happy you decided to keep going, sequels can get messy. Can't wait to see how Bill turns out as a vampire, his personality won't change will it?

AWWW! It's not over!!! YES! Ok, I love you eternally for one of the best stories that I have ever read. It's amazing! I swear I let out the girliest and loudest squeal possible when I saw that there was an update. This chapter seemed like the end, but I am so happy that it will continue! Good work!

wow your so detailed in your description of the whole process of the turning to the mind set of tom throughout the turning.
I just couldn't keep my eye's away from the page. I always get so caught up in your plot and especially your tom's monologue.
so tom's enternal battle seems over after knowing that bill's wanted this new life. he just need the situation you gave him or else he wouldn't have ever considered changing bill. so it all work out for the better because it took him decades to find his truelove and he should do everything in his power to keep him.
oh I like that you summarized what has happen with tom's family since he departed. gives readers some insight into their character's. I'm so happy that they will return after bill gets to his full strenth. probably from their return will be the start of the final obstacle in their freedom. they will help tom and bill fight the grieving widow and the enraged son.
so the final thoughts of tom's was a great ending to this part of their story. it leaves the reader fulfilled and it also promises a new beginning to be discovered. so looking forward to their second part of their life together.

I felt the turning process was so important and especially Tom's feelings about the entire situation. And you're right Tom just needed that situation to know that this was what Bill really wanted; what they needed to be together. I love writing Tom's siblings, so they shouldn't be away for too long. I felt the ending of this chapter needed to actually feel like the end of something and the beginning of something entirely new, because that's exactly what is was. The ending of Bill's mortal life and the beginning of his immortal one with Tom. :)

Like it keep saying. This is so sweet and romantic. I've never been fond of girl on girl or boy on boy romances, but this is really sweet. There is so much emotion and Tom is so passionate. I love it:)
