Author's Response: Awww, this review is just so incredibly sweet. First of all, it is the biggest compliment when people say that they read the story straight through. Especially because the fic has no plot outside of Bill and Bu's relationship, and I worry that it can become repetitive and monotonous with no sort of external events going on. And lol, I often wish I didn't have a life outside the fandom - i'd love to spend all my time writing stories. It;s been about 5 months since your last update and i was so disappointed that i decided to stop checking for a new chapter and just forget about "Playing by the rules".But in friday i was searching for something to read and i came across your update and i just couldn't hold myself back...
I've printed it and since friday i've been reading only these 10 pages pure perfection.I took my time-i enjoyed and savoured every single word and sentence,every warm exhale from Bill and every wavery thought passing through Bu;s mind.It was such an unforgettable thing to live-something like seeing Bill live on your street or finding out Georg's mum is your maths teacher. :D
I smiled with pure joy and excitement while reading how these beautiful men formed their unusual relationship,thanks for making dreams come true
Author's Response: First of all, you should know that your review made me feel so wonderful. The idea of someone connecting so strongly with something I've written is just incredible, and it makes me absurdly happy. I have such a clear picture in my mind of how these two characters transition from just 100% physical intimacy into something much deeper than that, and I often second guess myself about whether or not I'm doing their relationship justice. It's just so flattering and touching that you feel attached to them in the same way that I do, and I want to apologize for being so slow at updating. I know exactly what happens through the end of the fic (and actually, much beyond that - I have scenes in my head that take place after the fic itself ends), and now it's just the process of trying to write the story down in a way that gets across some of the emotion that I feel so strongly in my head. I've always daydreamed and thought up stories, but I'm still very new to the craft of writing them down in a way that other people can connect with, and your review is so precious to me because it makes me feel that I'm succeeding. I can't thank you enough, and I promise that I'm trying to update as soon as possible.

Author's Response: I'm sorry! I know I'm awful -- it's been over a month and I still haven't even responded to reviews yet. To answer your question: yes, there will be an update, but I can't promise when. I'm finishing up the school year so my FF has been put on hold for a while. I understand how frustrating it is when you find a story you like and the author is slow at updating, but you should know that your anxiousness to read the next chapter is very flattering :) It means a lot that you've connected with the characters -- this is the first real story that I created in the TH fandom, and these two lovebirds are super close to my heart. The story is mapped out to the end and I fully intend to finish the whole thing, but you may have to be a bit patient with me, especially for the next couple weeks. But I agree, this is one of the most interesting points in their relationship, and I can't wait to write the next scene lol :) Hope you're having a great spring so far! xoxo Clare

Actually lol, I've done this before too with fics that I've liked, so I know exactly what you mean. And although I didn't respond to the last email you sent me, I have to tell you that I squeaked because I do that EXACT same thing of rereading first what I wrote in an email before reading the response when I'm super excited about something. In fact, I had done it to your email and then I read what you wrote to find that you had done it as well, and it made me so giddily happy to learn that I wasn't the only one lol. We are indeed a lot alike, and not just in our billshido preferences lol :) Once again, it's so flattering that you're enjoying the fic, and as soon as classes are over I hope to update as soon as possible.

Well, it seems that Bill and Bushido have reached another level in their relationship, now they are very comfortable the one with the other, too comfortable, aren't they? What's next? A kiss, maybe? Bushido wants it, and I like to think that Bill too :) But this would mean a lot of things and they are not prepared... so... Maybe fuck? I agree with Bushido, Bill is made for this! :P

Author's Response: Thank you so much. Your whole review means a lot, but especially that you recognize that the two of them may be more ready for sex than for kissing. Theirs is such a weird relationship because it's based on physical intimacy rather than emotional intimacy, and it's sort of backwards and confusing but really, really fun to write lol (especially when readers get a feel for what I'm trying to get across as you have done). It makes me so happy that you're enjoying the fic, and thank you for your patience in regard to my incredibly slow updates.

this is amazing and confusing (in a good way) and i love it :) i like how you keep the focus almost solely on what happens between Bill and Bushido, rather than on everyone else, and how complexly written both of their characters are. i NEED to find out what happens next gahhhh - keep up the awesome job!

It's sort of an unconventional way to tell a story, in which there is no plot outside the development of the characters' relationship, and I often worry that it becomes boring. It means a lot that you like that about the story, and that you find the characters complex and confusing in a good way :) So happy you're liking it!

They indeed have not kissed yet, which is very frustrating to me as well lol (one doesn't think of how central kissing is to sexual activities until you try write them without it lol). I can't tell you when they kiss, only that they do, and that I have had it planned out since before I even decided to write the story down. Sorry for being obscure, but just know that I'm really excited for it to happen as well :)

Omg! I seriosuly become always soooo happy when I see that this story has been updated!^^ Because I always love the atmosphere in this story and it's captivating! Makes me wanna just keep on reading and never stop and the ending comes always way too fast (even tho, you do make pretty long chapters which I adore!!) :) I loved this chapter and the... feeling of it!
