I'd absolutely love to read more. I am very intrigued and extremely curious as to where the story is going. The relationship that they have is absolutely amazing. It's full of so much life and wonder. It's so very completed and simple all at once.
One can't help but wonder are they going to get serious? They can act very serious sometimes and very casual at other times. So it's really a question of which side is stronger? In the end would their sort of relationship last? They're so different and alike in many other ways. Could their egos and poor communication skills really hold a relationship?
Even if they didn't have a serious relationship could they really just walk away from it all? They may not be very romantically involved but some sort of feelings, no matter how absurd had to develop.
Anyway, I really do hope you get the time to continue it sometime because I am very interesting in knowing where it will go eventually and who chooses what road and why?
Author's Response: I so love being able to read all your questions, because I always hope that the reader will feel something about the characters and be invested in what happens in their relationship, and your review really makes me feel this is the case. I also really love that you described the fic as both simple and complicated, because I worry at times that the reader gets bored with it being so entirely focused on sex and wants something else for plot. To me the driving force of the story is how the characters relate to each other, and my mind just works in a way that tries to reveal this through a medium of sex. Not that I'm above some just straight-forward smut lol, but I really hope that people get something a bit more out of the story. All your reviews make me feel like you did, and I am just so appreciative that you took the time and care to go through and give me all your thoughts. Thank you so much! xoxo

Don't feel bad about how slow you are my Tom/Bu story is terribly slow :/ I really liked this chapter because Bushido is finally thinking about how much has been put into whatever they have and how interesting it will be to get out, if they ever get out.
Author's Response: Writing this, I remember really struggling with bu's thought process, simply because I don't think of him as someone who spends a lot of time explicitly analyzing his circumstances or his behavior. I thought it important to include, though, and I'm really glad that you found it interesting to hear what he was thinking. Thank you!

I can understand how frustrated Bushido must be because I myself feel very frustrated with Bill at this point. He's constantly whining and yelling and just giving off no's and I can't's; he's beginning to get ridiculous >.> You as an author are doing an amazing job though, the character development is great. I love how they both stick to who they are. However they both need to learn how to communicate; they're terrible at it.
Author's Response: Oh, i love this review. Bushido's character has a lot of issues, but I'm so glad to see that you are able to relate to his frustration with Bill. So many people automatically side with Bill on everything, where in this fic i'm really trying to make it so they are both partially responsible for the shortcomings of their relationship. And yes, you are absolutely right that communication is one of them lol.

Still I am liking the intensity. The way the character's minds work amaze me. As I said before the basic plot is very simple but the way you've turned it into something more advanced very interesting and it keeps me captivated.

Won't Bushido look like an ass going to the front desk saying he needs his key card. I find it quite interesting that you've based a whole story off blowjobs...Yet it has such a deeper level and meaning to it.
Author's Response: It really means a lot that you feel that way. It's a super slow-moving fic that is almost entirely about sex, but in my mind, the characters share a pretty complex relationship with each other. It's this that motivates me to write about them, so when readers appreciate the story on a deeper level it's just super validating. Thank you!

I just reread all 13 chapters again in one sitting :) I love this story, so much. So few authors have the talent to depict character development so well. You've done so well with both men :D this last scene was so incredibly sweet. Seeing Bill let go and just be happy, and seeing Bushido just revel in the beauty of that moment... -contented sigh- I love it. Just LOVE it. And, it's totally understandable that Bushido has a sort of hetero-panic moment, but now you've got me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to see what happens next. :D
So, I'm going to be a pain-in-the-neck reader and beg :p please update soon? Pretty please, with naked Bill and Bushido on top? lol

Love your characterization and character development, love the perfect pace you've set and kept in the story, and love how incredibly descriptive your writing is. Author's Response: Omg, I just responded to the review you left me for Security, and I am soo sorry! I will try to be slightly more organized with this one, but seriously? You make it really hard for me not to ramble and attempt to hug you through my computer screen lol. Ok, once again, starting off with an apology for my unacceptable slowness. Sorry. Next up, your insanely sweet compliments on my characterization. I have always seen these two really clearly in my mind, and that that comes across in my writing is just the best feeling in the world. I've always worried a bit about pacing--i tend to like things moving slower than the average person, and this fic is a prime example--so it's really validating that you think it's moving at a good rate. About my writing being descriptive lol, it certainly is :) I see scenes in my head (literally, this fic is composed as a scene per chapter), and then I just write everything that I see. Sometimes I feel that I get a bit detail heavy (I like to shove in way too much information), so it's a great to hear that people aren't getting bogged down with all the minutia I throw in. Being able to clearly picture the things that I read is one of my favorite things, and that you are able to do so with my writing makes me so happy. Regarding the update, I can give you my word that it will happen, but I can't promise when. I am in love with this fic and these characters, but the entire story has been plotted down to nearly every detail for over a year, and I've replayed it in my head so many times that I need a bit of a break. I'm taking the summer off, and then, come fall, i'm going to pick it up again. With a fresh mind I should be able to write much easier and faster, and that way updates won't take quite so long. Thank you so much for your compliments, and for possibly the cutest encouragement to continue writing a fic that I've ever gotten lol.
