Author's Response: Lol I did open up a whole new level of cliffhanger possibilities. Although I'm not sure you should be commenting on leaving your reader with unresolved plot - I just about have a heart attack every time 'For the Profit of Man' gets updated. It just keeps getting more twisted and complex and there's that major character death warning and then the fire/water thing and no official hook-up yet between Tom and Bill and dear god! I refuse to feel bad for this tiny little cliffhanger when I have to steel myself to get bludgeoned by your angsty cruelty every time I read the next chapter. Author's Response: That was the plan but RL came in and destroyed my hard drive (Really ironic, given how sneaky I felt posting only the first half and planning on updating the next day). well, i'm happy bushido was finally able to touch bill, but...it wasn't exactly how i pictured it. i was hoping bill would initiate it, but as long as touching happens, i'm okay!

Author's Response: looool your reviews always make me laugh (I'm sure you get told this all the time, but you are so dry). And I'm glad to know that this scene wasn't what you pictured, even though it was one of the reasons why I extended the fic beyond the original oneshot. (I'm all about a really powerful, aggressive Bushido, so psuedo-noncon is sorta my style :)) But, anyway, I try not to write so readers are like "that's exactly what I expected to happen" because I think it's sorta boring.
