And didn't Tom already punch him in the face once? And look what he got for his trouble. Bad idea, punching Bill in the face. Though I'm sure it is not the first time such a thing has happened to Bill... It's not like he wouldn't deserve it. Still, I kinda feel sorry for Bill. Poor thing still thinks he has the upper hand, but the object of the game is changing swiftly, he hasn't realized it yet, and it's far too late to stop it now. Ahhh! No, no, no, no, no! You've GOT to at least rent Dexter. If you think you'd like a show where you can't help rooting for the serial killer...then Dexter is for you. They actually make him a sympathetic character. That show is fascinating. It just finished its third season. If you ever swing by Blockbuster or whatever, just see if they have it there. Try out the first disc at least. What can it hurt?

I love seeing such quick updates because I really enjoy reading this fic. I know that's a corny review, but I'm glad that you frequently update. I look forward to reading a new chapter each night since I started reading.
Author's Response: I'm glad you like reading it so much, though my updates seem to become more and more erratic... Once every day, once every two days, once every three days, then back to once every day, etc... Though I usually only miss a day if I can't get online for whatever reason, and I update early if I can't wait to share the rest of the story~

Wow Bill is one disturbed individual. Almost sociopathic in a way--which always fascinates me in stories/movies. Of course, sociopaths always get attached to certain people. Have you ever watched Showtime's Dexter? He's got a girlfriend that he's really attached to, despite being confused that he doesn't have any emotions. But anyone that fucks with her? Is dead meat. God, I love that show.
Anyway, I digress. Your Bill sort of reminds me of Dexter--despite the fact that he's not a killer. Well...in a way he's a killer of people's emotions/feelings isn't he? He enjoys destroying them; having them pine after him. So yeah, he is a killer in that sense.
But Tom is going to change all that isn't he? Bit by bit, brick by brick...Bill is going down.
I almost wish that Tom wouldn't react at all after they fuck. Seriously, wouldn't that be awesome? Bill wouldn't know what to make of the situation then. And then it would be Tom who is doing the mind fucking then. *sighs dreamily*
Excellent foray into Bill's mind by the way, even though you called me out about it. Can't wait for more.

No, I actually don't watch much TV, and I only get local channels anyway. ^_^; *considering how things would play out if Tom didn't react...* No, that wouldn't work... I wrote that scene already, and the reason he feels remorse is because he causes Tom pain. If Tom doesn't react, Bill won't feel bothered by it, and we won't get anywhere... bill is totally an nut case. I like the extra chapter you wrote in it explains his actions and himself. We can also see how he's changing the more time he spends with tom.
but I'm so like him in that matter so I understand him. I to am an attention whore who actually laughed at a friend who tried to tell me that I was a whore. I just couldn't feel any remorse for the things I did and I couldn't take the remark seriously. she was just trying to help me realize how I was acting she said and I think no I'm not. but I do have issues with love so that's why I act the way I do. I don't get emotionally attached to anyone really not even friends. So reading this insert is showing me what a friend was saying so I see how its wrong. But its been hard to open up I still have a shield up with everyone but its a learning process.
Now back to your story I never hated bill in your story yet and this chapter just makes me love him more for all of his imperfection's. He's not perfect but who is he just needs someone to breakdown his shield and put an effort in him. Tom's someone that can do that for him. He just has to be persistant and not give up on him because that works.
Author's Response: I LOVE YOU FOR LOVING BILL EVEN MORE!!! Yes, he is a nut. To a lesser degree, I do what he does too, for similar reasons. But I don't hurt people the way he does, or if I do, I don't realize it and don't enjoy it. And I'm glad this fic was enlightening for you, that's amazing. No, he isn't perfect, far from it, but you're right, Tom can help him be better. Not perfect, but better.
