I feel like you should have made it more clear that Bill didn't know Tom was in the room when he was talking to the wall, and that he was surprised when he realized that Tom was.
Also, after Bill is done crying n Tom's shoulder, it seems like he's just given in to his desire to be close to Tom; like he's gotten past his defenses, but then they come right back up again and he's still having this internal conflict. It just seemed to me like he realised his problem, and then forgot it again.
The stuff Tom says at the end helps to tie everything together though.
Just trying to give some meaningful critique. Hope you likes.
Author's Response: *goes back to look at the chapter* Yeah, probably should have made it more clear. Sometimes things make sense in my head that don't come across on the page. ._.; But it kinda works, because you don't really know, maybe Bill knew Tom was there all along and he wanted to apologize without really apologizing. Or something. However you want to look at it. And no, Bill hasn't really realized his problem, he's just admitting that he HAS a problem. That's what's going on here, because he's been pretending that everything was okay, and he realizes he can't continue that way, because it isn't. He still doesn't know WHAT the problem is. Again, sorry if that didn't come across in the writing, I don't like this chapter because it doesn't make complete sense unless you're inside my head, and I realize that and I'm not sure how to fix it. XD

Forgiving is such an act of kindness, of love from Tom. This chapter just made me really happy, especially after all the pain in the previous chapter. I'm glad Bill is slowly opening up. And Tom, Tom is just too good. I can't wait for how this continues.
