I don’t think that your story is starting slow. Many authors take the development of their stories too fast but you do it absolutely perfect because your story has a logical process and so the characters. And besides this early years are so important for the time when Bill and Tom will be older. I really adore little , strong Bill and Julie. You do a more than fantastic job!:)
