I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

I have to admit at first this story confused the hell out of me because of the language thing but after a few chapters it finally clicked in my head and I felt awfully stupid for not getting it before. This wasn't your conventional story but I really liked it... Other then you killing Georg and Gustav cuz that's just not nice :( I really like the way you write and you don't give yourself enough credit because you are a good write... One of the best I have read actually.

This story has been recommended to me by a friend and I started reading it without prior notice of pairings, rating or warnings.... so....
I find this piece of fiction amazing, your plot structure and writing are stellar. You kept me deeply interested, on the edge of the seat, wanting more and more.
I would have to agree though with one of previous reviewers stating that I was done I was not sure if I loved it or hated it but judging by how absorbed I was while I was reading it I would have to say I probably loved it more than I hated it.
About the hate thing...I felt incredibly angry in the end and somehow the whole message of the story left me deeply disturbed. The sickest part was that I didn't object so much to the whole torture,non-cone,violence theme of this fic, I didn't feel bothered by Tom being a "bad" guy in the end either. I totally understood where he was coming from, he was just damaged, as simple as that. I was not thrown off by the twist of the plot either. What I found disturbing was the fact that after I have been lulled into believing that Tom and Bill had something special
going on, it turned out that Bill was just one of many others and even worse he accepted his faith happily agreeing on sharing Tom with ....the other guy whom I am not a fan of at all (sorry:-( ).
Girl, you managed to make me see red; I guess that is a great achievement. I was being happy, totally blown away until the epilogues came and I just felt... furious and sick to my stomach, literally.
So, I admire your work and salute you for the reaction you managed to pull out of me, well-done!!!

I’m so glad that you got so attached to the characters that they made you angry, this an amazing complement! But you're wrong on one assumption. Bill was very important to Tom. He was like the rest in the beginning but he was different in the cell then the others had been. Tom bonded with Bill in a way he had never bonded with the others. Bill also did things that the others never had, he took initiative, and also he escaped. Tom was building a broken little family and so he loved everyone who he brought into his family even if they didn't survive and their memories haunted him.

I swear to you, in the begining I kind of suspected it from the "sweet way" 'the third one' was treating Bill, but my god... I left you so many nice reviews and you throw this bullshit on me? Not cool. Not cool at all. I used to LOVE this story, get excited with every episode and squeal over everything and now you RUINED it for me... I'm never gonna have the stomach to read this again. Thank you very much, but your fic was awesome until you got to this episode.
